  1. Nope, not if you saw Wines game against the Pies :-) Jimmy's disposal efficiency is really deceptive - I thought he hit a lot more targets than the stats are giving him credit for. He also didn't duck out of contested situations last night. Much better, here's hoping he keeps improving.
  2. was gobsmacked he was still available at #4, i'd heard such good things about him in the sanfl, and then was so impressed by him in the under 18s last year. really disappointed with his lack of desire to go and get the ball. thought he'd be much more of a hunter, but it looks like he's a pure receiver at this stage in his development. has lovely skills by foot, just needs to add a lot of energy to his play - he sits back rather than gets involved at this stage, and his one-arm attempts at tackling are watts-esque. he'll get there, i hope. i mean, we have to don't we? we need some of our draft picks to come through and be guns. hopefully dmitri can be one.
  3. both should be superstars of the competition, all things being equal. essendon should be a terrific side if they don't all cop 2 year bans for peptides.

Would do that deal in a heartbeat. Can't see GC17 wanting Bail tho - his foot skills are terrible and he wouldn't improve their side.
  5. at least he's being called out, and everything that's said on here is neatly summarised for the general populace as to how our supporter base is feeling about a player who has not stagnated but actually gone backwards since his debut season. it's terribly disappointing. we need our early draft picks to be stars. not one of them is.
  6. moo kowal. for mine, still the worst player to play 100 games in the red and blue. had pace...shame he couldn't kick, mark, or handball. sean charles and brent heaver both debuted by kicking 5 against carlton...who recruited both of em after they'd given us service. paul prymke was shaping up as one of the best fb's of his generation, only to be cruelled by a bad back. we picked up a lot of duds from sa - sampson, ormond-allen, nick pesch, et al. balme had a soft spot for his fellow croweaters.
