Round 8 Non MFC Matches
Mills is a pretty average player

Round 8 Non MFC Matches
Tipped the peptides, primarily cos they’re a better team without Joe in their forward line

Big Freeze 2019
the big question, as always - will the beanie have a pom-pom or no pom-pom?
-
Injury List - Season 2019
yeah, that's last week fwiw, the age whisper boys said last week that walker is completely cactus and working in the membership dept - given that we're about to hit 50k, he's clearly doing a good job!
-
Isaac Smith
clarko was super aggravated about dropping the game to us on the weekend smith has not, as yet, lost his pace would be interesting to see if they offer him an extension; if not, he might want to exercise pre-agency to get a longer contract with another club
-
Shaun Smith not happy with Joel's medical treatment.
echoing what every supporter has said; worse thing it's coming from a former player and father of a current one himself! we really do manage to shoot ourselves in the foot as a club at the earliest opportunity

Target 70,000
has there been an official announcement re cracking 50k? outstanding result if so given the doldrums we have been in since 07-14, any membership growth over that time was remarkable, and if we can every get it together on field like we have off-field then we'll be in a far, far better place as a football club

Gary Pert
great book (well, at least the richard flanagan one)

The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
both papley and langdon are probably worth more than second rounders but not a first rounder - makes em hard to 'price' and probably difficult to get both in the one off-season
-
The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
if papley was available, what's he worth? he's basically a first rotation midfielder at sydney at this point - has speed and nous around goal too i imagine they'd want a future first round pick but there's no way known i'd want to give up that much for him, yet he's probably worth more than a second rounder he would be a terrific addition to our mid / forward rotation, much as langdon would perfectly suit our half back run and spread from the contest
-
Steven May - drinking session
This He seems about invested in our club in 2019 as Jimmy Toumpas, Cale Morton, or Brock McLean
-
The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
that's two of our three best forwards over the last twenty years, so good start.....
-
The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
i would love to get one of the host of victorians playing at freo back as cheaply as possible be it langdon, brayshaw, cerra, ryan...the idea of pilfering one of their 20-23 year old vic boys after they've taken several of our wa boys in the past appeals greatly
-
Jon Patton
tbh, i had no idea he was 26 or that he's clocked up over 100 games i thought he'd be about 24ish with less than 80 to his name, such as it is with the amount of injuries he's had
-
CASEY DEMONS V FOOTSCRAY VFL - Round 5
what's his ability outside the hurly-burly like at a lower level? does he also show the ability to break away from the contest with pace?
-
Jon Patton
No, never...well, not that I can recall But he’s never had a decent run at it either
-
Jon Patton
Another option as a tall forward recruit might be Sam Day from GC17 Had a rotten run with injury as well but shouldn’t command anything like the big $$ that Patton is already on and will have to be honoured with He's back playing for the neafl side after that horrific hip injury and from what I understand before this weekend he’s starting to get some fitness back

Ross Lyon

CASEY DEMONS V FOOTSCRAY VFL - Round 5
I think as his confidence has suffered he’s stopped ‘doing the work’ that it sounds like he was back to doing today I still reckon our best forward structure can accommodate him, Preuss and T Mac all together
-
Round 7 Non MFC matches
more money to be made playing at the g than at taxpayer stadium north currently being made to look like premiership contenders by a very poor looking carlton
-
Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
lever is the logical replacement when lewis goes
-
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - DECLAN KEILTY
He competed hard and got a win in his first game - couldn’t ask for anything else really! Congrats to him and the fam @Drunkn167!
-
Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
He spends so much time telling the various headless chooks in our defence where to position themselves that he’s still valuable enough to contribute
-
Round 7 Non MFC matches
Richmond without their key defensive pillars really being threatened by Footscray’s marking power
