  1. finally, a free for the crows...and they completely stuffed it up
  2. how that wasn't 50m i have no idea
  3. lever gives away the free...demonland goes into meltdown?
  4. against port and saints we went to sleep for great stretches of the game the game against the scrays was, probably, our only four quarter performance for 2017...thus far i can barely bring myself to follow scores today, it's all so thoroughly depressing
  5. 6: Oliver 5: Petracca 4: Melksham 3: Lewis 2: Hunt 1: Jones
  6. So Hogan is gone with a hamstring?
  7. absolutely packing it... pretty confident, as per demon77, that jones will NOT allow us to lose today
  8. North have a more successful history than most sides since the Carey era - they've played a helluva lot finals series since he was in his pomp; more than most sides I'd wager I can't believe the money they're offering Dusty - average of over 10% of the yearly cap plus marketing money available I wonder how they're structuring that $10.5m over the next 7 years: - first two years overpay whilst their list is still developing - next three slight unders - last two years will be under the new cba; basically hoping like hell that rights to broadcast and revenue in the game continue to rise it could be done but it's just SO MUCH money
  9. Nice comparison, reads the ball as well in the air as Rough, that's for sure, if he has four premierships by the time he's 28 I'll be a super happy little Demon
  10. that was aj, not dj, on triple m adelaide yesterday he's also the bloke who said clarkson was signed, sealed and delivered to the crows the day before pyke was announced as new senior coach
  11. ones that have been around for a while: ADELAIDE - Lever being courted by Melbourne and Collingwood, and has already said no to Footscray - McGovern is being heavily courted by both WA clubs, but is likely to stay at Crows - Cameron wants to go to either Queensland side, preference is Bears BRISBANE - Rockliff weighing up opportunities elsewhere – was previously likely to go to the Crows as a free agent, but is now more likely to stay at Brisbane CARLTON - Gibbs still being talked off as a Crows target COLLINGWOOD - Some talk that Sidebottom may be looking elsewhere GEELONG - Motlop will leave, have heard Port Adelaide the most keen GC17 - Lynch is a strong possibility to request a trade, Carlton are heavily into him GW$ - Kelly has multiple suitors – Aints, Peptides, Caaaaaaaaaaaaarlton – but is likely to stay - Same for Hopper - Smith wants to go to the Cats MELBOURNE - Hogan will always be talked about every year, but will stay - Frost may look for opportunity elsewhere, particularly if Lever comes in NORTH MELBOURNE - Have eight players waiting on Neck Tatts - Goldstein’s $800k pay packet in 2018 is a major disincentive for the likes of Footscray to recruit him PORT ADELAIDE - Pittard will stay - Trengove will go – Blues the most keen RICHMOND - All roads lead through Dusty decision ST. KILDA - Several players already told they’re on the chopping block, Jimmy Webster apparently ropeable about it SYDNEY - Rohan again mentioned in dispatches earlier in the year, but will stay WEST COAST - Have kept Shuey but Gaff is a possibility to be traded a year before he becomes a free agent WESTERN BULLDOGS - Stringer and Libba are on the possibility list, if the right deal comes along
  12. bombers just upgraded a bloke who was suspended for three weeks in the vfl last week so it might be a situation where they have to be upgraded to be eligible for finals or something?
  13. It's very difficult to see him being a starting ruckman at any club Good honest type, but always a second stringer you would think
  14. no, martin was always going pick 1 to gc17 we were choosing btw hogan and kelly
  15. don't forget, it was a toss-up at the time as to whether it was hogan or kelly we were taking in the mini-draft
  16. If you were to rank the KPPs in terms of sheer quality, would Frost even be in the top half dozen btw the two clubs? Talia, Lever, T Mac, O Mac, Kelly, Keath, Frost, Hartigan, Garland, Keilty, Dear... If Frost was the make weight to get the deal done, I'd take it in a heartbeat
  17. kelly - will sign on at gw$ hopper - likely the same billings - already signed a new deal with the aints balic - who knows smith - wants to go to the cats, if rumours are true matera - wants to go home to perth goldstein - currently on $800k a year next year, looks cooked lever - we're in the conversation, clearly stringer - would love him
  18. it's going to be very interesting to see what the coaching panel does obviously it's a must win, but is this a dress rehearsal for the finals? as such, surely watts and salem - ostensibly 'best 22' (whatever that means - basically fit, and in form) - have to come in to be part of the 'team' and 'structure' of the side? and how does bringing them in effect that very structure? then there's viney - we need him out there and part of it as well...but is he fit? i would presume watts, salem and viney all come in, but frost was "afl-level" in his vfl match on the weekend...so does he come in given that the pies are quite tall, with reid, moore, and cox / grundy rotating? then there's bugg, who was in excellent form before his brain-fade... i honestly have no idea how they go about changing it this week i would presume... IN: salem, watts, viney OUT: stretch, wagner, harmes and in saying that i want harmes in as i think he goes hard offensively and defensively but honestly...WHO KNOWS
  19. ah, the ol' half-pregnant guilty verdict! finally it goes our way how jonas - who has a terrible record - gets two weeks for decking a bloke behind play whilst bugg got six i do not know
  20. from a crows mate - apparently the wobbles have been told the same as dogs
  21. first was a free kick against bern, second should've been a free kick for him he'll get four weeks
  22. bona fide freak of a player
  23. all will depend upon injuries and suspensions wagner gets a game cos he's a classic role player; like harmes he's not overly skilled but he has a dip at every contest in saying that, it's hard to see watts or vince being suspended, although the latter is borderline compared to the former in the magoos - if he is to come back in, it's at the expense of either harmes or wagner you'd think IN: viney, watts OUT: stretch, wagner B: Jetta - T Mac - Hibberd HB: Hunt - O Mac - Lewis C: Tyson - Jones - Vince HF: Petracca - Pedersen - Melksham F: Hannan - Hogan - Garlett Foll: Gawn - Oliver - Viney I/C: Watts - Brayshaw - ANB - Harmes salem needs a massive vfl game to get back in for finals week 1
