Round 19 Non MFC matches.

daniher is just dominant, but other than his aerial dominance they're struggling to manufacture goalkicking options -
may be tricky, mongrel... i would expect that hogan, trengove and one of jkh / anb / harmes would go out for pedersen, vince and jones but the other factor is whether hannan is crocked with that elbow, and how much longer we can carry a clearly under-performing watts - i suspect if hannan is passed fit it'll be jkh as anb had a down game but has otherwise had a good season, and harmes offers more than jkh too hopefully brayshaw has a blinder in the vfl to back up last week's return and is a sneaky chance of coming in too IN: jones, vince, pedersen OUT: hogan, hannan, trengove B: Jetta - Frost - Hibberd HB: Hunt - O Mac - Lewis C: Tyson - Jones - Vince HF: Petracca - T Mac - Melksham F: Pedersen - Watts - Garlett Foll: Gawn - Oliver - Viney I/C: Salem - JKH - ANB - Harmes Emerg: Trengove - Stretch - Weideman

i am presuming pedo has been withdrawn so that he's right to go against gw$ next week?
-
Again a case of the 'luck' of the fall of the ball going their way
-
How many soft free kicks can they be paid today do you think?
-
Now kick the goal T Mac!
-
How is that not holding the ball for Watts just then??
-
You can see how frustrated all the players are wiht their own ability to execute today; ANB wanted to murder that ball then Could've been in the back AND holding the ball to us in the space of 5 seconds then
-
Seriously, it seems like all the 'luck' of the bounce of the ball is going with them in terms of the bounce of the ball
-
Conditions are difficult but gee we make some seriously dumb decisions
-
They've had to cut Hogan's jumper away
-
The 'luck' is going their way when a kick like that lands on Brown's chest
-
We worked that so well just then - we had no one forward and thought our way thru it...and I blame the hit to T Mac's cheekbone on that kick!
-
Melksham has become a serious forward defensive goalkicking weapon
-
I love that boy
-
desperately want the win very nervy

it would be tricky to se it happen; you'd think dogs would see tippett primarily as a ruck who can play forward in rotation with boyd and to a lesser degree roughead could easily be more complicated that just dees, dogs, and swans involved - given that both melbourne and footscray are being discussed with regards to lever, you'd think he'd be part of any trade that also saw jones, tippett and 'something else' moved around

The advantage of Tippett is that you can make the Swans pay the majority of his salary The disadvantage for Tippett is that he's still Tippett...at his best a seriously good player and at his worst not quite as bad as Vickery...not quite -
i don't know about that we have around 15-20k 'rusted on' supporters who have rocked up every week - hey! like most of us on here!! - for the last ten years of general ineptitude pies appear to be slightly more rusted on, say 20-25k what we don't have is the theatre goers that the 'bigger' clubs have
-
did you see theirs? 5000 less than ours and indoors, out of the inclement weather...
-
i have no qualms with alternating it / sharing the gate in an ideal world the afl would be a full socialist organisation with all gate receipts pooled and shared equally

lever is all class; easily worth two first rounders will in the conversation as the best defender in the competition for the next decade all the word i've heard is that it's the dogs, us and the pies into him in a big way -
List Structure: What do we actually need?

will agree with what everyone sais: - a ready-made inside-outside mid with pace and skill like a josh kelly, a luke shuey type - smooth moving outside midfield runner with pace and skill, like andrew gaff or zak jones, who may be more inside-outside but could play purely outside - tall forward / relief ruck who is also defensively sound and good at ground level, see callum sinclair - another zippy small forward who can push up the wings and hit the scoreboard, like another jeffy really
