  1. north were prepared to offer him a hefty contract at the end of 2018 but instead we signed him up to a fairly decent one instead he's one more poor year away from being worth a lot less than a third rounder
  2. mckernahan (198cm) and stringer (192cm, but arguably 'plays' taller) are pretty decent targets
  3. nope, i said so at the time he's always been a frontrunner
  4. unfortunately he's incredibly one-dimensional, doesn't work hard defensively, and has chronic poor disposal he's no better / worse than dom tyson shoulda traded him at the end of 2018
  5. carlton review just went up, i would imagine ours would go up at some point in the next 24-72 hours...
  6. i think this can be expanded to our midfielders struggle to defend the amount of freewheeling going on inside the square and around the contest is very concerning going forward
  7. melksham and t mac on thin ice at this stage i think - on the g - you need some tall targets to kick to, so i'd give lj a reprieve this week IN: weed, o mac OUT: jones, smith sad to see nate go out like he is - looks a shadow of his former self anb and hunt did their roles; pickett will need to wait, silly boy
  8. better than may for mine
  9. 6: petracca 5: oliver 4: gawn 3: langdon 2: rivers 1: hunt
  10. Head to head with Clarry who is dominant in close
  11. Let them right back into it with an appalling last five to seven minutes
  12. Neither have Carlton, AFL.com, or any other news sites
  13. Nah, I shoulda used quotation marks to make it more obvious
  14. i dunno... cats got destroyed by gw$ in rd 1, poos&wees mangled the bears, richmond haven't lost a match for 12 calendar months, and the filth have lost to one 2019 grand finalist by 4 points and drew with the other in 2 out of their 3 most recent games i don't think you can read anything into this season yet...give it til about round 10 - if we get that far - and then we'll know where every team sits
  15. the amount of defenders and ruckmen who are 'forward coaches' is...interesting
  16. it just boggles the mind that we'd do this tbh
  17. not even remotely confident; i have no faith in melbourne whatsoever hopefully we win, and win well, but i have my doubts...
  18. i was being sarcastic; the 'proved yet another bust' should've been in quotation marks as per the previous 'can't play on a man'
  19. i was more than happy to pay lever for it; it's a shame he's proved yet another bust, as he was terrific for the crows and we saw what he was beginning to be able to be for us when he was injured hopefully he can become the player he promised to be i had far more issue with the may trade
  20. so we've lost a player to stupidity, and now our much hyped ruck-forward is going to play back cos our high-priced third tall 'who can't play on a man' is crocked again? 2020: it keeps on giving!
  21. love jab watson commentating about how to play down at kardinia park...he......never..........played............there.................
  22. the notion that faang give a hoot about our tiny domestic sporting competitions is laughable
  23. Extended to end of 2024
