  1. Could be Salem with glandular fever
  2. what i saw of peptides vs puddy tatts was atrocious
  3. based upon 5 mins of viewing, north look like they're going to be a thuggish team - so many late hits and physical acts to try and intimidate very reminiscent of the way they appeared to play in the scratch match vs us as well as the way the hawks went about their game
  4. good to see i'm not the only one who thought barrett might be a good journo (muckraker?) but as an interviewer he leaves a lot to be desired
  5. if blues lost cripps they would be in huge trouble he'll likely drag them singlehandedly over the line in a couple of games
  6. BuT TheY gOt JaCk MaRtIn!!
  7. if viney goes for a dangerous sling tackle, so too should the footscray player who just buried houston into the mines in whyalla
  8. There's very little about our line up that excites me - i dont see us being any stronger than last year which is a real concern considering the teams around us seem to keep strengthening their squad year on year. The big positive is that we surely can’t play any worse. I felt our mids were pretty well out-gunned by Petracca, Oliver and Brayshaw, which was disappointing as we had them for experience. I feel that Wingard, Worpel, O'Meara and Mitchell just need time playing together. That said, our forward line looks like it needs Wingard in there applying pressure. Demon's defence had a bit of a stroll in the park. Saints and Dees both comfotably beat our midfield Garry Lyon is a really poor commentator. I dont mind his post match comments, but I find during matches he doesn’t talk about the game, just relentlessly criticises players and says such fatalistic stuff about players “if he can’t improve his kicking he won’t hold down a spot”. He’s the new Robert Walls. Meh, we play rubbish against Melb most times so not a lot new. TBH, we play similar game styles to the Dees and unless we're up for it they love to find something extra when they play us. There's a few teams like that the last 4-5 years...Melb, Bullies etc Was a "full dress rehearsal" in their words. That's what worries me. We put the queue in the rack at 3 qtr time, coz the game was already lost. The current lineup is too tall at both ends. I don’t like McEvoy in defence one bit, kinda defeating the whole purpose of getting Frost and Hartley.
  9. hawks had to switch their wings cos of the damage he was doing on the switch and they still couldn't come close to containing him positive signs
