  4. funny to hear jab talk about the tigers' pressure forcing us into the extra handball au contrair - that's just what we do!
  5. hope not as a neutral, gimme a tight contest between two inept teams like this over a walkover where one mob dominates the other from go to whoa
  6. i reckon the aflpa will fight tooth and nail for it to be 22 players games every week in every team, hence six on the pine might be required if you go from 22/4 to 16/6 the true 'nuclear option' solution to fixing the quality of football might be reducing the # of teams, not changing the total of players on field, or where they're stationed, or anything like that but who wants to see six clubs die? fortunately it would seem not the afl commission personally, i know i turned off tonight in one game (bears v pear) at half time, and the other (kangas v footscray) about 5 mins into the third as a neutral, i'd rather see a hard fought fight that's tight and exciting than a blow out one way
  7. kicked half a dozen last week
  8. dunno, but it should open up space and it'd be my preferred option to turning the game into netball
  9. i'd go 16 on field before zones quite happy for the 6-6-6 set-up to become a 5-6-5 one, sit six on the bench, and have rotations capped at something utterly arbitrary like 66
  10. They were never going to be appearing for Casey in 2020 It’s training and scratch matches only for our also-rans

  16. my god i wish we hadn't [censored] away a top 6 pick on may a king brother was ripe for the taking
  17. no bloodnut v bloodnut next week and the rising star is still wide open for someone else to claim
  18. good piece from jake niall: https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/how-footy-turned-ugly-20200703-p558ps.html
