  1. Heffernan was AWFUL for us
  2. i found it bizarre that we came back after the rd 1 sabbatical without o mac or a second tall forward, given that we'd presumably spent the whole pre-season (and certainly the jlt matches) with a backline built around may - o mac - lever and a forward line of t mac - weed / brown of course, it's no less bizarre than the preseason hitouts being longer games in 2020 than that which the grand final will be...
  3. may never see them again stay-at-home full forwards have gone the way of the dodo
  4. i am so annoyed that we have an agreement with the nt govt yet it's richmond vs peptides that will be the 'feature' game of the doug nicholls round up in darwin
  5. doggies are like saints - they don't like playing outside
  6. no, i don't think he gets there
  7. it may depend upon what sort of schedule we have after hawks you'd imagine it'll be the swans or gw$ - so either the scg or still at the boondocks; i'd expect the games will be at minimum four days apart too we might be going hawks on sunday, gw$ on thursday, swans the following tuesday on a five day break, then hightailing it to brisbane / gold coast to start our hub rotation up there the following tuesday after another five day break it's going to be some time turnarounds coming up that's for sure
  8. bluebaggers mauled footscray the latter have gone from premiers just four years ago to a more inconsistent side than us when they're good they're very good; when they're bad they're horrid
  9. swans' kennedy with a medial and heeney's foot / ankle didn't look good either you'd expect we'll play swans in the next three matches, and hawthorn too, with patton gone with a hammy
  10. pear vs gw$ is a pretty defensive contest so far neither side can kick straight
  11. yes, not a huge amount of improvement so far this year from last year if anything his defensive work might have gone backwards
  12. wouldn't surprise if they elect not to make any changes at this stage the three under the gun are lockhart, brayshaw, and melksham they clearly want lockhart in that lockdown defensive role so i can't see him going out, brayshaw is still a better onball rotation option than others at this stage you'd think, and melksham is pretty important to our structures and - if you believe the scuttlebutt on here - bff to the coach only change would be if t mac was out crocked, which would be a real shame as i thought he was impressive leading up at the ball and marking it before the eye poke jackson comes in for him, i guess? or do they give brown another crack at it?
  13. i'm not his biggest fan but i didn't think he was too bad tonight i have conniptions about the idea of him playing at half back...that kicking.... if he can continue to make okay decisions with the ball in hand then he has a role as a role-player - no different to that which tyson played for us really i can't understand what's happened to his defensive game...it's non-existent
  14. Yeah everyone knows when we’ve been beaten he’s Badloss
  15. 6: Viney 5: Gawn 4: Hibberd 3: Langdon 2: Petracca 1: AVB
  16. oh please, as if they say anything!
  17. oliver nails a pass, trac nails a long set shot that's the boys
  18. ranks right up there with heffernan and kowal as my least favourite demon ever
  19. 41`- 28 i50s and we're up by a point what a joke
