walla - along with stringer in particular - started to look very fat in the second half of 2020 still more than capable of performing but he definitely looked portly
-
Devon Smith
much as there's been minimal interest in t mac since he signed a decent deal and copped a few serious injuries, much the same would probably be true of smith he's definitely not the player he was several years ago

James Frawley Retires... And Starts Playing Again
was a better player in red and blue than in brown and gold got his 'easy' premiership and leaves hawks light on for key defenders

i have no issues with daniher being a band 1 compo - no different to us losing frawley if saad is worth a 5 year deal at big coin to carlton then surely he's worth a first round pick in terms of trade it will be interesting to see what essendon do with their trio of picks in a row ultimately it comes down to the culture of the club and how they manage that more than bringing in top line quality players

Farewell Braydon Preuss
not outside the realms of possibility but probably unlikely also o mac >>>> schache at afl level, which says a lot about how far schache's stocks have fallen being a key forward taken at the pointy end of the draft is littered with failures over the last ten years, be it through commitment, application, injury or disinterest in afl - see watts, day, patton, boyd, mccartin, schache interestingly the last two taken in the top 3 of their drafts - lukosious and jackson - have been earmarked for different roles, be it half back playmaker in the former's case or ruck / forward / half forward combo player in our boy's case
-
Farewell Braydon Preuss
general vibe from dogs supporters i know is that schache doesn't have it in him to make it in the afl and will likely be paid out at the end of this season

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
ha! suffice to say there's no interest in t mac in the annual player meat market i'm hoping he sticks and turns back into plugger mac
-
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
their sole remaining key forward is james stewart if they don't get brown now then dodo is not doing his job properly alternatively i guess they could throw everything at jeremy cameron? means no compo for joe tho
-
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
you'd think with confirmation that joe is off to the bears that the peppies will be all over brown
