NON-MFC: Opening Round 2025
Fifth

Forward line questions
far more concern with our skills being so poor that we can have 35 scoring shots and ~25 of them are misses some of them were lay down miseres too opportunities were created but not converted

NON-MFC: Opening Round 2025
afl is clearly waiting for the qld govt to cancel all commercial flights that way they don't cancel the games, and are forced to compensate the broadcasters for not having the game at the ascribed time, but instead they can say it was outside of their control it's only a matter of time til it happens

2025 NON-MFC Injury List
the afl haven't updated their /injurylist page yet; i think tuesday evening is generally the 'form submission' time via api, so should be updated tomorrow i presume

Club Emblem
we'll never get this thread to 70 pages with that sort of attitude LIFT @Sir Why You Little

Club Emblem
no it's not a club emblem / logo is about standard and consistent branding to be instantly recognisable and associated with the product as it is simple and direct works, and not changing it willynilly all the time too the 'demon spirit' stuff has enough frills around it to supposedly be appealing but personally i think the notion of our emblem having any effect whatsoever on our appeal to younger generations is a complete misnomer

NON MFC: 2025 Practice Matches
can we forfeit tomorrow? i mean, we tend to have done effectively that the last few times we've played flagmantle, so why not just do it completely this time around?

Kayo is 4K in 2024
yeah i have no idea either i presume the jailbroken firestick approach is using a kodi plugin to used farmed credentials etc. to push that stream to the consumer or somesuch i've watched some nba, premier league, and champions league via streaming links online, and the quality is better than that which is available on espn via kayo (4k vs 720p) on a webstream browser, but does have a nasty habit of freezing when you don't want it to do so

CASEY: Practice Match vs Sandringham
these three adjectives sum up my concern with jefferson - good, nice, ok that describes his performances thus far to a tee - he does everything...fine too many of his performances thus far have been vanilla in the extreme i really hope that he can show more this season, as his contested work is so poor that he needs to develop more strings to his bow in order to command a spot in the mfc side to compare him to weideman is unfair as the weed was in the mfc side in his debut year and proved to be too-good-for-vfl-not-good-enough-for-afl across two afl clubs if el jefe doesn't make it with the mfc i doubt he'll get another go at another club

Kayo is 4K in 2024
more and more the norm that people wax on, wax off with their streaming subscribers these days personally the only one i would keep on consistently is prime, cos it's an add-on with amazon's free shipping that they have inserted ads into their programs as their standard package means that more and more people are turning to piracy it's the same with sports telecast - see above with daz n's whinge about pirate streams

Goody: Love in the Air
for those who accuse the club of 'waffle', these media appearances are part of the new agreement between head office and the people who pay a small fortune to telecast, broadcast, and promote the game get used to it cos it ain't going to change in the foreseeable future - if anything, the media will demand that the clubs and their proxies - president, coach, and players - provide more content to feed the hungry beast bring on the season i say
