  1. now that i am aware, thanks to the quotes of others, that picket thinks he's not worth pick 23 i am all for the trade not a first rounder tho
  2. i like the comparison with harmes i dunno windhager seems like the sort of bog standard defensively-minded inside mid who is a good, ordinary soldier and not a 'difference maker' to our side
  3. cricket, obviously!
  4. dunkley was, and is, a far superior player to windhager
  5. laurie knows where he's at - at half time in the elimination final, he said he knows he needs to get past viney, oliver, and petracca for an inside mid role i'd say it's those three plus pickett, windsor, rivers, tholstrup that's seven players ahead of him in the picking order, plus you could add langford, culley who have been playing wing in the afl but look like inside mid options as they continue to progress, which is the role culley for instance has played at vfl level too if we bring in windhager and don't move any of the above out, then that's arguably 10 players who would be preferred to laurie as midfield options he's up against it to make it
  6. good grief - aints fans reckon he's worth a first round pick... shirley not?!?? windhager is a good, ordinary, work-a-day defensive mid who is an average kick
  7. asa vs private arrangement, i assume
  8. almost positive he got the ball at half forward at one point i could be wrong
  9. he was definitely on ground in the last quarter last night i'm pretty sure he offered nothing
  10. interesting option to add in to our midfield defensively-minded and strong over the ball yet not a clearance midfielder but not overly quick nor better than average by foot, i wouldn't have thought?
  11. chaos vs control longmuir definitely wants the latter macrae, as an opposite example, seems to prefer the former
  12. Generally speaking, everyone jumps of the loser in the top 4 I see crom as more likely winners than the bears, who have been cruelled with injury Both should be fun to watch
  13. i thought franga were the better side - 11 point win is about right playing verrall was an absolute waste of a spot in the side - disturbed the balance of the side top 6... 6: laurie 5: culley 4: hardie 3: campbell 2: billings 1: bonner tholstrup's second half was good stats:
  14. laurie! keeps it alive as suns win thru swallow?
  15. handy frees for franga
  16. culley brings it back to a goal the diff!
  17. huge goal johnson still alive here
  18. culley is a lovely mark
  19. unfortunately that's his skillset
  20. he's also been heavily man-marked so stop the ball getting into his hands on rebound says a lot that he's the player they've gone hardest to contain
  21. being absolutely dominated
  22. dominant second quarter from the dolphins
  23. casey can't get any run and fluent ball movement
  24. laure is a turnover merchant when under pressure
  25. frankston are really good
