  1. Viney I reckon they will be went to stop our inside ball winner
  2. literally signed a new contract with gw$ in the last fortnight going nowhere
  3. seeing as he just signed a 4 year million $$ deal with gw$ let's go with 'no'
  4. Cameron braced with hands; no push There’ll be no penalty for that action
  5. whatwhat say what replied to Romey's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
    Same plan as me!
  6. Steve Crawley, the 65 plus year old exec in charge, quoted in the Age: “I am happy that you can actually read the graphic” i re-read this sentence as it means: “I am happy that I can actually read the graphic”
  7. Geez that looked bad for Briggs from gw$
  8. unless you're prepared to pay for it, yep
  9. all the scuttlebutt midway though last season was that we were the ones deadkeen on seeing if we could prise allen or waterman away from meth coke the work has been done, but we are not a 'sexxxy' team a la dingley we have been up to our eyeballs in recent seasons trying to get cerra, lynch, houston, allen, and waterman
  10. it's easy to forget that prior to foxtel there was scant highlights if you were lucky, friday night games that started at 7.10pm began replay broadcast at 8.50pm, and if you were lucky you got one game actually telecast 'live' per week
  11. exactly that - 3 games a week on fta
  12. c7 have prioritised thursday night over saturday; better ratings, more ad revenue compared to them, foxtel paid a fortune for the rights - they will throw even more of their weight around with daz n / saudi pif paying for the rights going forward
  13. aflpa will fight tooth and nail to maintain it be interesting to see which they agree to first - trade without agreement from the players or mid-season trades imo you can't have the latter without the former
  14. and yet yr post history suggests you're not new to demonland...
  15. launches march 31 if you have foxtel you get max+ads for 'free' binge is, effectively, dead max are yet to release their price points - that's going to be interesting to see
  16. They are basically a monopoly in live broadcast The choice of shots and supers over them is dependent on production Hence why c7 and fox will have different shots / gfx for the same telecast
  17. i doubt it it'll all be nep productions
  18. maggots super hot on that and 'not 15' from what i saw some of the not 15s were ridic; went nearly 30m!
  19. just like imo it's too early in the calendar year for an afl season, it's too early in an afl season imo to make that call bloods were missing two key players and looked seriously underdone; dingley play a very easy-on-the-eye game sicily is going to be a game saver when behind the ball / winner when in front of it this year
  20. he plays 'tall' - wants to be a fwd / ruck but can also play key back, as he did last year; think mac andrew / the de koning bros / sam darcy he's nowhere near as credentialed as the latter at the same age, but is ahead of mac or either de koning bros in terms of underage representation etc. also, again, i think it's worth reiterating that if gc17 make finals they are only entitled to pick 2 out of 4 (if you include white) academy selections available in 2025 there's no way they're not picking zeke uwland (most pundits rate him a top 3 selection, if not pick 1) and whose elder brother is already at the club, while beau addinsall was bog in last year's 'futures' game and seems to be another pointy end pick
  21. really? I was always a Melbourne fan my whole life. I’ve always had the red and blue on me. After that [2021] Grand Final, it was an unreal experience. Seeing my dad emotional, it holds a special place in my heart if he doesn't pick mfc then we've really done something wrong
  22. wretched dingley good to watch, the poostains
  23. Cos he was magical
  24. no, the last time plugger mac played predominantly as a forward was as we went 10-0 to start 2022 he bunged his foot in the closing moments of a fairly routine victory over north melbourne under the roof at the carpark, and that was - to be honest - the end of that season for us we never looked quite the same again without him in the form of his career
  25. would be curious to see how the three types of memberships have changed in cost over the last, say, 25 years: mcc membership afl membership club membership full home games 3-5 games i'm sure someone out there would know...
