So you want someone to fall? Disappointing comment from you lucifer. -
There should be testing for everything, all the time in my opinion. You've got Collingwood players testing positive to a performance enhancer, when it's probably been cut into recreational drugs, it's their fault for putting an unkown substance into their body. And what if it wasn't from rec drugs, what if they did take clembuterol for another reason, would you prefer they weren't caught at all? Yes some people can handle their drugs just fine and get on with life, but the more players there are doing recreational drugs the more likely we are of having another Ben Cousins, or finding another young player passed out in a car or on Elizabeth St. I don't want that being one of our players that we've put time, effort, hopes and a chance of a lifetime into. Or any other player for that matter. These are young guys with plenty of money and time on their hands and most of them don't have their own families yet. Club employees and the media and whomever else are in a different boat entirely as far as I'm concerned.

So no one wants Casey to win a premiership? -
It's a professional sport. We pay money in memberships for our players to be professionals. We don't pay for journo's to win us a flag.

Let this be a lesson, MFC supporters, adopt a couple dozen pets and sign them up.

Very cleverly dished to Lumumba for Watts' first goal too, it was an attacking dish off when instinct and old Melbourne would have been to give it first time to a flat footed Lumumba.

I remember 1 handball hit a target, and 1 kick went to a 50/50. 3 handballs resulted in turnovers. Dunno what happened with the one I don't remember, the stat would be spot on this time. He stunk it up.

This was excellent. He does these (not so) little competetive things that remind me of Luke Hodge.

Toumpas had 16% disposal efficiency. And that's supposed to be his strong point. And in one of the more open games he'll ever get to play in. Not good enough, it was more than just a bad day. I feel for him but he needs an extended run in the VFL and needs to smash the door back down to get back in. There's no chance at all Frost goes out. None.

Ledgend has it that Rischitelli still hasn't hit the ground.

This thread is [censored] awesome. -
Watts over Jack Riewoldt? Stiff. But 4 Demons, 3 Hawks, give us the premiership now.

I'd have kept them in the hope of adding a big guy to the mix. Getting rid of Betts was madness, consistent small forwards are hard to come by, and he's been one of the best. Garlett isn't in Betts' league but they sure could've used him on Thursday night.

2 amigos are better than 1. Imagine a team had all 3... oh hang on...

I think it's a given that Dawes comes back in. So either Bernie has another VFL run to get full fitness and it's simply Toumpas for Dawes Or they both come in and JKH goes out. JKH still has developing to do, bringing Dawes in you still get that defensive pressure with more physicality. Brayshaw the sub, sub Vince off at 3qtr time when we're 9 goals up. Brayshaw comes on gets 15 touches, 5 tackles 2 goals and a rising star nom. Dawes gets reported and JKH comes back in after starring at Casey. I don't see the problem.

That was the dumbest [censored] I've heard since probably anything Darcy said.

Happy Easter, Scott brothers.

Stating the obvious here, but it shows just how half arshed the NAB challenge is. No one went near Cockatoo in the NAB, now he has no idea what he's gotten himself into. I'm finding myself barracking hard for the Hawks and Chip here, I feel dirty. But Chip is forgiven. Best of luck. Mitch Clark can go [THREE PARAGRAPHS OF CENSORSHIP]

Hells Bells was the first time I've enjoyed hearing AC/DC since I was about 14. It was perfect.

And every time it gets better.

Not wanting to neck myself 20 minutes into the season was refreshing too.

Gave away his customary 50, but showed great improvement by not getting injured or reported. No word on if he has any friends yet though.

Which player positively suprised you against GC
Deestroy All replied to Henrietta Lumbago's topic in Melbourne Demons
Yeah Howe and Garland for me. Garland wound back the clock outta nowhere. I didn't even expect to see Howe any time soon and if I did I expected a couple of his nothing games. Howe and Garland were having a laugh down back, easy as [censored]. -
Thought his preseason form might've been a bit of a fluke or any easy ride in practice games. But nope, I like him a lot. Has some pace, size, strong through the hips even though he has no calves, looks like a pro already. Has more attributes than your Magner type VFL recruits and actually adds a different dimension to the midfield/flanks. Good get!
