AFL need to look into Rhys Mathieson!
Kumamoto_Ken replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
ANB stood over him and gave him a huge serve right near the end. He was tackled high but the knees gave way and he raised a fist to the sky. -
Mitch Robinson, what a [censored].

I have a question. Does anyone know whether we set up like this every centre bounce? There seems to be a poster concern that it's 'no plan B'. In on the couch last night they only showed one example, multiple times. Do we always setup like this? Apologies if this has been asked/answered. I'm reading on my shyte phone at the airport waiting on a flight to Perth. Promise to ask my cabbie what he/she knows about Hogan's return.

Nathan Jones on AFL On the Couch - 16 May

They did mention that it was reliant on Gawn/Viney centre wins. It was good footage, but they only showed the one example a few times, would have been nice to see a few more examples. Also mentioned that if the half forwards follow our half backs in to try and keep numbers even that it'd throw their structure/positioning/plans off. -

That's all well and good, but there'd be no players anywhere else. -
Jetta gone for a week, Vince free to play.

The Bont looked genuinely distressed that some hair had come loose from his headband. -
Love how he speaks in the third person with such confidence. Ken approves.

I want to know what your mum was driving ET?

Best news Robbo's ever bumbled his way through! -
Unfortunately Jack felt the need to prove this and knocked him senseless.

Just watched the game again (it was just as enjoyable second time around) and thought the same thing when the commentry names flashed up. No forcing nicknames, no catch-phrases, it was actually a pleasant reminder of what commentary can (should) be like.

Could be spot on there I reckon. All the vision of him walking after the incident (heading off the field, walking around in the rooms, with the rest of the lads after the game) showed him moving like Hymie the robot: doing whole body turns rather than just turning his neck. Hoping for the best.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 7

He'd better not...if I have to listen to Derm, Lynchy, whichever other muppets are commentating continually referring to "Two metre Peter" I'll go spare. -

Isn't that when you get games you don't deserve? I agree that ANB is stiff though (keeping the lewdness theme going). -
Add my thanks as well. We just kitted out the whole family as well, great deal. Only downside was my usual procrastination: looked online as soon as the email came through and though "those Demons travel shorts look good, so does that Demons windbreaker, I'll order those". Login again a couple of days later ready to order...they're gawwwnn.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 5, 2016
Kumamoto_Ken replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Flying down to Melbourne with the family this morning. Wife's Grandmother's 99th birthday this weekend. She's done well, the old duck dear old thing, organising her party on the afternoon of the Demons game (and Trac's possible debut). The wife is pumped: gets to see all her family (and the 99yo is a genuine matriarch). The kids are pumped: get to see all the cousins, grandparents, great-grandparent, go on a plane (and a tram) and go to the 'G at night-time. I'm pumped: get to go to the footy. Of course last time we all came down for the footy was the Essendon debacle last year. So, my apologies in advance, Tigers by four goals. -
C'mon Todd, you could have picked a more anonymous username.

Lay off Mr Potato. He's your friend and mine.

Howe on the pre-game banging on about the Pies exciting young list...(and his running ability and a move to the wing). MFCSS has me backing him for the first goal at $14.

What do you mean you "have" to go? Is it your wedding?

I lived in Kumamoto for a couple of years (hence the user name). Lots of friends and former colleagues still over there doing it tough at the moment. Really feel for them, and the city/region...it's an amazing place. Back on topic. Very nervous about today's game, but that's not unusual. I hope Bernie being out doesn't hurt too much. Would love to see Ed's face turning red/purple as the result unfolds.
