Farewell Jesse Hogan
The packet of coffin nails must be tucked into his left sleeve...clever.

Thanks Cameron Pedersen
My in-laws are down that way, San Remo and on the Island itself. Brother-in-law heavily involved in the Cricket Club...less so with the footy club now, getting a bit old for that.

Thanks Cameron Pedersen
Confirmed on the Phillip Island Football Netball Club Facebook Page. Sounds like he's moved to the Island. He'll smash it down there.

Surely the first ever use on Demonland of the phrase 'jive turkey' Bravo BrisbaneDemon, bravo.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Highest first class score was 452. Test was 334.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
He's Golden...just like Ayesha from Guardians 2.- Farewell Jesse Hogan

Dept of Fire and Emergency Services also based in Cockburn...they'll put that fire out.- Bernie Vince Retires
Love Bern. Not too many blokes win B&Fs at two clubs. Loved his pointy elbows even though they meant his unsociable brand was always on the borderline of a suspension. Met him at the Interstate supporters function last year (he was guest speaker because he was suspended) and got a selfie with him, Robbo and my good wife. I suggested to her at the time that I'd turn for Bern. Nothing's changed.- Andrew Gaff
And his head is disproportionately large.- Andrew Gaff
He has a more suitable head for radio I reckon.- CYCLING
This is worth a bump...after 48 days ol Deano made it to Cartagena in Columbia and smashed the South American World Record by 10 days! Now in Panama and cycling on. He's had food poisoning twice, ran into a highway sign at 40km/h (not food poisoning related), and has gone from 88kg to 81kg so far. Bloody Legend!- Anyone for cricket?
They'll have to cop it in terms of penalties and being called 'cheats' for the rest of their careers (post-career too). Pathetic news to wake up to. Thank god the footy has started- A Day at the Races
Bloody father-in-law...apologies for the interruption lads, I'll leave you to it!- A Day at the Races
Hi all, might be my first visit ever to this thread...so I am happy for this to be taken with as much skepticism as can be expected with an anonymous tip on the interwebs. Father-in-law has 'recommended' Peaceful State in the Randwick Guineas. There's a family connection so maybe he's just being hopeful...- CYCLING
This might be of interest to any cycling fans on here, or just fans of endurance stuff generally. In a couple of days my cousin is about to start a world record attempt at cycling the Pan-American Highway. It's 22,000km from Ushuaia in Argentina to Prudhoe Bay in Alaska. The current record is 117 days and five hours. Dean's aiming for 110 days. He's doing it for charity, trying to raise GBP1million for Heads Together, a mental health awareness charity which seems to be similar to Beyond Blue. Sounds like they're about 1/3 of the way there. Tracking will be available through the main website here, and plenty of background info is also on their facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pah2018/- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - OSKAR BAKER
Sure there was, just one page ago...- Game Of Thrones thread
Didn't BenJen say he couldn't go south of the wall? If so, doesn't that rule apply to the other wights and White Walkers? Or can they just not pass through the wall? My recollection of the original dagger used in creating the Nights King was that is was Dragonglass...could be wrong though. Re the annulment, I think you're correct. Ol' Sam was too distracted by talk of steps, windows and bowel movements to pick that up...I wonder if it's in his subconscious though? On Sam, I assume he's head of House Tarley now...does he still have his old man's sword that he stole?- Game Of Thrones thread
A gloomy castle like Winterfell is the perfect backdrop for Baelish peering around corners in the semi-dark. Arya to wear his face at some stage? Or just slice him up? Happy to see Gendry back, and agree with@nutbean that's an iconic crew heading north of the wall. Has the potential for some superbly profane and insulting chats around the campfire led by the Hound.- Game Of Thrones thread
Whoops. Had a great attachment to...attach. It appears I've used up my quota though.- Game Of Thrones thread
Needed more Hound. I did enjoy Arya's comment about having baked a couple of pies lately, although it came right after I nearly had a vom watching Sam 'helping' Ser Jorah. In other semi-related news the kids were watching Horrible Histories last night (I'm partial to the 'Stupid Deaths' segment myself, has a very catchy ditty), and I noticed one of the actors was Mike Gatiss (thanks IMDB) who played Tycho Nestoris from the Iron Bank. He has a pretty distinctive face, although also thanks to IMDB I see I watched him just the other night in Taboo and had no idea who he was. Ok, back on track...needs more Hound.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I don't have the patience for it, but at a guess I'd say the Freo boards (if such things exist) would have been frothing with Hogan talk before he re-signed.- Game Of Thrones thread
Had a bone sticking out of his leg didn't he? My favourite character in the show. I've always hoped he and the Mountain would have some huge face-off at some stage, but his vision now has me worried he'll end up meeting his demise at the hands of the White Walkers. Clegane Quote of the Week: To Dondarrian: There's no divine justice, you dumb [censored]. If there was, you'd be dead and that girl would be alive. - Farewell Jesse Hogan
