I know we need the dosh because we are skint but for goodness sake after having to play a high energy sapping game near the equator one week and then back up the next week even though today we played in a big shed , we should insist on a bye after a Darwin sweat fest ! We were never going to win today , witness the predictable sluggish performances from far too many players...

I knew last week we would lose this game. An absolute certainty after playing last week in the humidity of Darwin then coming back to the cold ....the body just doesn't recover in time after the effort in that heat !should be a bye the week after for certain and should be insisted upon next year .. I was listening to the game while driving to the airport and after 15 minutes of the game i knew a miracle wasn't going to occur even though we out scored the Saints, but it sounded like we got the goals through StKildas sloppy start.. The Saints always seem to save their best form to play us and it sucks !

Oliver is sublime, an absolutely fantastic talent.. Such quick hands and speed of reaction to dish out pinpoint passes with eyes in his backside.. Love him to bits!! Old head on a such a young body, he just seems to have been born to play football... thank the lord above he is a Demon and the fellow who plucked him from the draft! I can't believe he's played a hand full of games only at AFL level. What delights this talent will bring us into the future if he continues at this rate. As someone else wrote, I have never seen his like before!

The AFL should rethink about giving lowly sides very bad match slots , all i can see it doing is keeping them in a spiral of decline!! Successful teams need competition , and quite frankly you could give them the type of poor timings we get and fans would still flock to see their team compete .. Lowly sides like us need all the help they can get because without us there would be no successful teams to play against ! Besides that , i do think that perhaps Paul Roos should consider turning his job over to Goodwin because i believe his game style now has gone a bit passe !!
