As I've said before the talent is there, our recruiting has been good, but the players have got to be developed. Ryan Ferguson a case in point , how long has he been a Demon 4 years? he hardly looks differant from the day he began with us. The lad should get out now because he has not been given the tools to survive AFL football, he's easier to knock over than a ladder and he always gets injured, NEWTONS LAW I think

Half time in this shocking display and I can't blame any of our players. They have been outgunned, outmanned, outplayed, outmustled, out-thought and don't tell me it has been the injuries. I blaim the total ineptitude of our entire coaching and training staff. They are to blame for this carnage. I am completely broken hearted about the mis-match. Our BOYS are so badly prepared, just look at them, full of talent but so betrayed by their mentors. Many of the players that we have given the flick or transferred to other clubs have flourished while ours are just withering on the vine. We look like high school kids and we haven't got a prayer against professional set ups that we can only dream of. I am sick of our players having sand kicked in their faces every bloody week and I am mad as hell that I would give every trainer of ours the arse because we are running around like headless chickens that we would probably do better without them and we would save on the deal. I am so bloody sad

We have been out couched for a long time, we were a disgrace in the first match of the season, so unfit, we looked like we were at the end of a long hard season rather than a new season with all our hopes riding on them, well ,thats all been shot to hell, not surprised we have so many injuries, you tend to get more of those when when fitness levels are so poor. We don't seem to get a coaching team that is thesame in consecutive seasons, no consistancy there... Who was that coach that Geelong fired last year? is he with us?

I think the Reverand is delivering the same old sermon and its all falling on deaf ears, but tired old sermons do I'm afraid.If Neil Daniher stays to the end of the season we are in for a lot of heartache. They are far too reactionary, they have just not got that spark, we can't blame the loss of a heap of injured players, we were hopeless with them in round one. Actually been cleaning up and down sizing, de- cluttering our lives, found out this morning that my Avatar(early postcard)of the mighty fuscias as they were known as then, 1905, is worth $300 bucks plus, bloody hell check your junk, don't throw anything out when your twenty it probably going to be worth something when your abouit to retire!!! or maybe not!!

This is a question to MCC members or anyone who could possibly help me here. It has absolutely nothing to do with our footy team, by the way I am not worried at all about that match on Friday night, a couple of years ago we were done by Hawthorn by quite a few goals in the first round and then we proceeded to go very well in the following matches! Anyway back to my question. I have unearthed a collection of very early MCC members badges 1902 -03 up until 39-40 with a couple of gaps. Does anybody know what these are going for, a friend has told me they are going for fairly strong money though doesn't quite how much, is there anybody out who has any ideas, would appreciate some enlightenment if possible

I do remember him but that season is more than forgetable,I think we only won 3 games in 1969 and took out the wooden spoon.
