  1. ManDee don't get me wrong I like it a lot. We're playing great football. But it does mean i feel like I'm clenching my butt cheeks for the whole game.
  2. Almost get the feeling theres a bit of a "whatever you can kick, we can kick more mentality" it's exciting but it scares the [censored] out of me!!!
  3. One who I like and think he could be a very solid tall defender is Ben Griffiths from the Tigers. He's not on that list, but I believe is out of contract at the end of the year. Has had some injury problems in the past but I reckon he has shown a fair bit when fit. He is also in the 24-25 yo bracket.
  4. Cam Mooney had similar things to say yesterday on SEN. It's on the audio page of their website.
  5. Personally if they were both fit I'd take Jaeger over Prestia as he suits our needs more. We need outside speed and polish. We have a lot of good strong inside mids.
  6. For those interested there is a good interview with Darren Bewick, his former coach at the Eastern Rangers regarding Christian on the SEN homepage. Under the Audio section.
  7. I though Garland we pretty good on Sunday albeit against poor opposition.
  8. Anyone know who's playing back-up ruck for Port? Obviously Trengrove is playing 1st ruck. But I thought Watts was pretty good as a back-up on Sunday. I actually thought it brought him into the game and led to an increased involvement. If he is having a poor game in the future I'd use the tactic again to try and get him going.
  9. In the games I've seen they aren't normally in the forward line at the same time. Keilty has played mostly ruck or CHB. On the weekend I noticed that Dawes, T. Smith and Hulett push up the ground a bit. Weids stays deep as a real old school Full Forward. From watching live, there seems to be one or two smaller mids that rotate through HF or the pockets to support the talls. They aren't running 6 tall forwards at the same time.
  10. That was one of the highlights of the day for me. You could sense the anger in the crowd that this little turd kept ducking into the tackle. By the 5th time they'd had enough. I love that his nickname hence forth will be Cheatmode.
  11. The thing that has me stumped is that pretty much all the players who have come in through the Scorps this year have been made to put in multiple strong performances. From the reviews here and on the MFC site OMac hasn't been performing strongly at VFL yet he was brought in. I think in reality that's why he looked so far off the pace.
  12. To those calling for Lumumba to come back in, I'd expect Mitch White to be in contention instead. He played very well for Casey on Saturday night. Although now if think about it, I can't remember if he's on the Rookie list, that may rule him out.
  13. I have heard that Tyson is the reason for the two emergencies.
  14. That was probably me, I've a habit of getting my King's mixed up.
  15. Good summary Angry. you've saved me the effort.
  16. Keilty did and played well. Not sure about Ed Morris
  17. Spencer was pretty good I reckon. BH got on top when he was off the ground.
  18. Mitch King did a couple of things in the last few minutes that were very funny. Think Spencer dropping the ball while kicking for goal funny.
  19. Yes he played. Went for a lot of marks but don't recall him taking one. Tried hard but didn't have a good game.
  20. Scorps goal countered by another one out the back to BH. Scores still level 20 mins gone
