I can't help but think Bruce will pull something out but I'm choosing to keep the faith in our stubborn rearguard. They're giving us plenty of reasons to be confident in stopping those types.

We did the right thing by Jesse and I think if these issues didn't exist and he was playing good footy and one day decided to do a Trent Croad and decide to come back I think we would be no. 1 on the list. But the more time passes I just think this might be something that needs to be let go. The depression aside I feel the injury issues alone are just too big of a gamble and sadly for him I think his time in the game is going to be shorter than it could have been. Much love for the guy but as things currently stand it's a pass.

Been a while since we were in a game of relevance like this. We have what it takes now go get it done!

You gotta love these stories, by all accounts he does more than even some of the most generous when it comes to his time. I hope to see a few more like Nev that wear our jumper with a purpose.

Yeah I'm with you, not a fan at all. With the fixture being updated all the time now I made the choice to rely on the AFL site instead of just typing in Google as it may not have had the absolute latest info. Well even that simple command was like pulling teeth, pull up the fixture and expect to have to scroll down for eternity because the proportions are too darn big! Then you got the video and media section, the part that they constantly ram down your throat when you don't even want it. Well try going on there to find a video you'd heard about and want to see, enough said. Slightly more minimal sites are the way to go these days, no need to make the menu bar 3 times bigger than it needs to be.

I've also respected Hardwick in his time at the Tigers. I also try hard not to let past experiences cloud judgements on players and coaches character. But bringing up something from 20 years ago? The ONE part of that triumphant game and season from the Bombers that they should be trying their hardest to suppress and forget? Not on. The guy is clearly just defending his player, sure he's sacrificing his own reputation but that's his choice.

The AFL condones punching and gut punching. They can say all they like but this is the truth, it's all well and good to stamp out little shoves and bad sportsmanship but when it comes to punches they are 'soft as butter'.

Actually did not see that news about the delayed start until now so that does change a few things yeah. I'd say at this stage everything is on the table. Maybe even more games with shorter quarters, who knows..
