  1. Getting tired of this same old re-hash. The guy has talent but never the mindset of an elite AFL footballer. Not once or twice this has been shown but over and over and a lot of people including myself chose to ignore it for a long time. I’m constantly having opposition fans tell me rubbish like “I heard somewhere if Watts had gone to Hawthorn he would have been one of the AFL’s best players” and “It wasn’t Watts’ fault, he went to a basket case of a club” turn it up. Some of it is true to an extent but doesn’t hold any water when explaining the guy’s entire career.

Rough way to lose. Was really hoping they could make some big plays late and bring it home for you @Gorgoroth. Tough to take.

If the Rams can just get a bit of production on offense they are right in it.

Still a game. If the Rams can crank it up and move the chains they are very much in it.

I’m going with 27-23 Pats but don’t feel great about it. All the best @Gorgoroth it’s great to make it to this day. Hope they can bring it home for you.

What can you say? Easily the best football we played this tournament that I've seen (watched 3 games). Movements forward very good, used the width of the pitch well. Thought Grant gave them some problems down the right. Beasts in the middle of the park with Milligan setting the tone winning nearly every 50-50 challenge. Feel bad for Milos, made a howler but he has performed well. That's the sport unfortunately, lacked just a little cutting edge in front of goal. As stated previously I'm a fan of McLaren but he has way too many of these games at this level. Don't feel he attacks the far post enough at crosses, obviously that's without knowing what he's been instructed but several decent crosses came in with no-one on the end of it. Interesting times for the Socceroos going forward. Definitely quality to return but not sold on Arnie's vision.

That's incredible! Johnson makes one for the ages. Unbelievable Rams performance. That's what you watch an NFL game for. Gonna have to see this back closely later as I've been watching on and off on the phone.

Just what the doctor ordered. A few much needed big plays and we've got a game going into the half with the Rams receiving in the second.

While I am a Jamie McLaren fan he has been lacklustre at this level. Wish we had a better version of Juric for all these wide crosses in to the box.

I was less than impressed with the Jordan performance so didn't bother with the last two games. Will tune in for Uzbekistan though. Good luck on finding a watching spot!
  13. With Lever back and firing and the addition of May I see our backline becoming a 'no-fly zone'. Bring the pressure up the ground, scruffy kick in, chop off. Get Hunt firing again on top of this and THAT could be scary!
  14. I first joined the old Demonland around 2001. I was 16 and was a fan of the hip hop group Bone Thugs N Harmony. I named myself after one of the group members 'Layzie Bone', as a matter of fact my name on the old Demonology forum was Layzie_bone. I'm a person of many music tastes most notably hard/alternative rock and metal and I still do like hip hop but it has been a very long time since I listened to BTH! Having said all that I can't change my name now, I'm a 1 name player.

Yeah have to agree there, I think they win if it was in Philly.

Looking forward to both championship games this week. Plenty of great offense to watch and there will definitely be room for surprises, I'm going with a Patriots V Rams Superbowl.

Shocking news, pretty gutted about it even as a neutral. In terms of players most important to their club's chances he's right up there. Come on Levy, loosen the purse strings a little!
  18. Not touching that.
  19. Have to back the FD in on this one. It's a good question though, although I hope it doesn't get bumped throughout the year when/if Smith plays.
  20. Got mine in the last few days although I have been in QLD. Happy, then again didn’t need it urgently. Never trust Auspost.

Been off grid a lot lately folks. Cracking game we got here though.

Sure is DZ, especially when you have the chance to cash out for $180 30 seconds before the equaliser!
  23. layzie replied to WERRIDEE's topic in Other Sports
That equaliser cost me $250 as the last leg of a multi..

At least the league is well and truly alive and there is plenty of football to go. Next couple of weeks will be very telling. Tottenham are in incredible form with firepower everywhere. While the rearguard has been excellent for Liverpool this season, the Gomez injury could catch up, Lovren isn’t the long term guy.

Amazing stuff @Grapeviney that was an awesome summary. I think a lot of us Aussie English football fans would kill to have that much in-person exposure just in our lifetime! Great job. Good to see Spurs are doing it for you
