WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM

Haha I turned around and missed the play on and goal so that might have been a good thing! -
Dean Kent, Aaron Vandenberg and Mitch Hannan

Amazing contribution from those 3. We all felt it with Kent's shot, he had to dob it and he did! And Frosty, man he actually hit some targets when we needed to! -
Yeah we do but 24 hours is like a safe zone where I don't even want to think about the next game, team changes, finals aspirations. NOTHING. At some point soon I will but not right now.
-
The world stopped for a split second when he was lining up. Was like a life flashing before your eyes moment! That image is burned in my head for good!

For sure mate, it makes you realise that success in any sport is bloody hard to come by and if you are fortunate to have some you have to be thankful. Those Daniher years remain some of my best footy memories. Compared to what people had to go through in the back end of the 60's to 87 it was definitely something to cheer about.

Absolutely. Very, very good at his craft.

Completely got this wrong. I was not excited at all when he came over, thought he was one of the most overrated players in that Dons side who was lucky to get a regular game. Absolute masterstroke. Very few players in the league kick like him. Very good football sense. -
I guess also because Philly is a massive football town and they hadn't won a major title since the 1960 NFL championship (think that's the right year). They craved success pretty bad.
-
I got on board during the Steve Young period. Narrowly missed the Montana era, I was pretty young when he left SF. I've definitely seen some success which is good. But in those years from 06 if you take out the Harbaugh period they've been a dysfunctional tire fire not too dissimilar to the Demons!
-
There's a name I haven't seen for a while. Reminds me of the old 'ology days.
-
Would definitely love to sneak a listen to SEN right now!
-
I'm having a shocker. Zero concentration whatsoever.
-
Pretty bizarre situation. We had that 3 season flurry under Harbaugh including a superbowl but apart from that its been a baron spell since 06. Looking forward to it!
-
Win a final. I'll be happy with that.
-
We're still in that 24 hour period of being able to savior the moment. I'm going to enjoy it as much as possible before moving on.
-
Not sure about resting Fritsch. He's one of the few players who actually kicks to advantage.
-
I think it was the goal that AVB snapped. Trac just couldn't get a handle on it and fumbled about 3 times in succession. We were lucky he scored from it but its moments like that he just has to be a bit cleaner.
-
For crying out loud I thought they needed another 100 point win!
-
Haven't given one iota of thought to changes this week. Might start thinking about it tonight.
-
It was a bold move and he made it when he had to. Didn't diddle around.
-
In time I really hope it will be Petracca. I would have said Garlett in the past. I guess its ok for where our list is to not have a true X-factor player at the moment. Right now we've got a bunch of real honest toilers who have a bit of class.

When will Melbourne break these embarrassing records?

Maybe the Saints? -
Would be pretty happy to see Richmond and Collingwood go at it in that first week and have a bloodbath.
