  1. For me I don't need him to come in and kick 4, I just want him to be physical. Crash the pack, get it to ground and help bring the small forwards into it. Hopefully give his opponent a bit of a run around as well and clear some space for Brown to lead into.
  2. Ain't easy being Cheesy

Hold on there Yalbro, you mean there's a New Mexico? We should start grooming our vice vice captain while we're at it.
  4. Really doesn't have a damn thing to do with football.

    Yeah what the hell?
  6. He sure knows how to pick the perfect timing.
  7. I love it!
  8. Please don't impose a club suspension again.
  9. We are the danger. We aren't the ones opening the door, we are the ones who knock.
  10. We need Hibbo
  11. The reaction to the DL social media and complaining about the 4 - 6 was hilarious. Anyone who understands sport and was watching on Fri knew that this was a blessing of a result.
  12. Could he be our Nick Daicos?
  13. Yeah good point on Howes, I'd like to know from the regular Casey watchers how far off he might be from a debut?
  14. May very well have happened, Finn McGuinness is becoming quite the competent tagger.

Yeah most people I know who go can't be bothered talking about the attendance, you just attend and hope others will too.
  16. I'm choosing to think that the absence of Gawn will mean the Swans will get beaten by what they don't know somehow.
  17. It's very much a case of what got you here won't get you there, but then you forget that it got you here. We bemoaned the lack of fast ball movement last year and while I definitely wanted us to speed up and become a bit more predictable, there was no more assuring feeling I've ever felt in my time supporting this club than going into boa constrictor mode once we got the game on our terms and controlled the pace. The balancing act was always going to be finding when to use each method. I would really hope we don't go too far away from what got us to this point but the slight tweaks and more experience with them in practice will hopefully reap rewards soon.
  18. What technology and metrics are used to measure a team's ability to run out a game? Are there different methods for different players? For instance is a pressure forward judged on how many repeat sprints they do across the 4 quarters? Are there ways to measure their speed levels over a certain distance? Also, in the footy strength and conditioning world has technology and data taken over as the main way of analysing performance? Or are there still a lot of things that come down to the eye test?
  19. Like an off beat blues musician, they move a little differently these types.
  20. I feel like this milestone needs some amazing Clarry artwork by a talented creative.
  21. It's such a long season, they'd be having to answer the same questions every week. The forgotten part of this is the members, you need to sell hope to them. Telling them that the season they've paid up for is effectively dead at Rd 2 would be a pretty rude shock to some when the game is their main passion in life. They made bold moves which may end up being the incorrect moves but tanking? Surely not.
  22. Agree. Thought Tommo got swept up in the overall bad performance, made some mistakes but did another serviceable job. Appeared to spend most of the night minding Hipwood who had 7 touches and no goals.
