  1. If he was a Demon from day one with the way his career has gone he'd probably be in the Watts/Johnstone/Sylvia conversations! I just want to see that little bit more from Jack. A few more targets hit, a goal here and there etc.
  2. Looks slightly built. What's his contest work like?
  3. Tommo simply isn't a third tall I'm afraid, as much as I'd love to say that he could be that floating interceptor he just isn't. While there is a chance for him to come in, his best role would probably be the one that Tom McDonald is currently playing. Turner going down when he did really hurt, this would have been perfect as we could have either swung him or Petty back.
  4. Thanks Lexinator, we need to try some new looks in there to keep opposition guessing. I look at what the Dogs have done with Ed Richards and it has given their midfield a new lease of life, even after Liberatore went down he seems to have grown more into the role. I too would like to see ANB at more centre bounces. I know it robs us of the high HFF role that he plays so well but now is the time to pull a few levers and see what we can run through there.
  5. Jack Billings or Issac Weetra? Choose
  6. Looking ominous. If this injury dates back to the tweak against Hawthorn I'll be quite peeved.

Oh god do I really want to know!
  8. Personally I'd love Rivers to get more time in the middle, I know he can turn it over but he may just give us that bit of extra bounce energy wise. Have to take risks sometimes and the depth pool is shallow as it is. We've gotta do something different in there, anything.
  9. 111 marks to 60, made them look like the West Coast of old. We find ourselves in a position of coming up against teams who seem to want it more, especially where the midfield battle is concerned. I don't know how you fix that but if they don't have the desire to put in the work then the door is over there. These ones certainly sting the next day in the office. Not wanting to show your face, wish I could work from home!
  10. I must be marking McAdam harshly. I just didn't think he offered much apart from the two nice leads where Kozzie hit him lace out. Needs a few games.
  11. We REALLY could have used him yesterday.
  12. The blowtorch is on the midfield this week. I don't know what they need to do, whether it's rotate Salo/Rivers or even Woey through there for a different look or just put a firecracker under the old firm's backside but we are quite far off it in that area. 36 inside 50s is appalling.
  13. 22 tackles I50 for the Eagles too. They wanted it more.
  14. I'd rather be blooding Verall first personally.
  15. The smoke still needs to settle on this one. Everyone is still hurting and I don't blame them. I can't quite buy into the wholesale changes attitude yet though. I'd like to get games into some youth but not at the expense of handing in the season just yet.
  16. I'm done. Try to have a nice week all, pity the weekend had to end this way. GDs
  17. Why send Jefferson to the slaughterhouse?
  18. Play baby and bathwater, also toys out of the cot as sub.
  19. They had the answers though and controlled the game right up until the last 8 minutes. I'm done with arguing about last week's game but the reality is we were no-where near as good in that game as people give us credit for.
  20. Well I can't imagine that's directed at me because I agree. Today was very telling and showed an underbelly that I thought had been dead a long time. I thought the loss to Essendon in Gather Round last year was a critical loss but this one, it won't be forgotten quickly.
