It never works for me, I have to delay watching till at least lunchtime.
  2. I actually just got onto Pommy in oz's youtube channel Turner. Actually pretty darn good! One of the better resources on YT outside of Gettable for draft reports etc.

That's smarts Macca! Think fans got a bit too giddy about our performance against Real..

Hawks-Rams will be a belter. Might actually watch it in full.
  5. Alright, but your reputation is on the line..
  6. Rankings and phantom drafts are different things.
  7. Seasons in the abyss? Might end up being pretty accurate.
  8. Underrated but something off Invaders Must Die like World's on Fire would be cool.
  9. Was thinking the same thing. When the report raves about kicking I tend to study the action, especially the set shot action. It's pretty good but there is something happening in that ball drop that I wouldn't call perfect. I hear you on the jarring to the eye thing. The fact is though it seems to be very darn effective and you just have to go with it till it stops working.
  10. Seriously when was the last time we doubled up with Essendon? Probably going back to Bailey years.

They also seem to have a lost a lot of rhythm in the passing game since some of their receivers went down. I guess it's better to have these problems in November but you'd want to see improvement quite sharpish.

It's such a fall, he really is a joke now. For 5'11 he had one of the best deep balls around. Now he's the punch drunk boxer who thinks he's still got it. Yes he shredded the 'boys but their D is garbage. His one day contract in Seattle is coming sooner rather than later I think.

I had the Bills as my SB favourites this year. I felt it was finally lining up. That was a horrible performance, you're allowed one of those in a season but all eyes will be on their response now, especially in an even competition like this one. He's got runs on the board but if younger guys ie. Daniels, Purdy, Stroud, Young put up a performance like that? Well, coaches don't forget those.

I wholeheartedly agree, in a developing team it counts for a lot more than getting trounced each week. The offense was doing enough I reckon. I would like to see them manage Dart a bit better going forward. The guy is aggressive by nature but they don't want to RG3 the kid. Russell just can't get a gig anymore..

Not to mention they put themselves in winning positions often. Sometimes again decent teams.
  16. That would be good. Our marketing and comms in general have stunk for some time now.
  17. Honestly LITD I haven't liked the idea and you're probably right about it being something badged with a fancy name. I'm personally choosing to be open about it because I'm so tired of being annoyed at the league for making changes we hate, it's not easy but I'm looking for the good in it. The question I was asking is that if we were to lose to a 10th placed team (which is very much something this club would do) yes it would be meltdown world but also if you were to do the job properly and win that game then wouldn't you have well and truly proven your credentials as a finals team? There are flaws to it for sure. I guess the incentive to finishing 7th or 8th will be a home wildcard game so that's something. It is probably the only sport in the world where over half the teams make finals but I'm willing to see the effect in can have.
  18. Max to play another 5 years then Langford. No but really I think Disco will eventually be the guy. Personally don't see it with Rivers, maybe as a co-captain.
  19. A forward that moves and leads in the 50? Are you sure that fits the MFC style? 😜 Honestly there's a lot to like about him. Looks like he has a great pair of hands. Are we seeing a Gunston type?
  20. But LITD wouldn't it just be better to win that game and prove our worth?
  21. I'm aware I'm in the minority with this but I'm happy to see it back. Is it perfect? No. However representative football is something that has been lost to the game and in my opinion the effect has been detrimental. Much like the under 18s carnival, the chance for the best players to play and train with each other inevitably makes them better players. For the fans who care, it's a chance to change it up and support some players you would usually hate and see how it feels. It's just another angle of viewing the game which has sadly not been there for a long time. Players could get injured sure, players can get injured in any game especially when they keep adding them to the fixture. I've said it before but I would prefer this to a round zero, gather round and wildcard round. Again, I'm aware at how much people are against it and I understand a lot of their reasons, I just happen to like it.

  23. Cheers Radar! My dad is a massive spitfire enthusiast so I'll let him know. Also had family in both the RAAF and RAF.
