The social aspect of the game is diminishing and it feels more like an interactive video game machine you step into at Timezone when you walk through the gates. In all seriousness the deal isn't the first thing on my mind right now, it's his headspace. This is an awful lot to go through and I wouldn't blame him one iota if his mind ends up all over the place as a result of it for a while. Hope gets through it all ok.

The one thing did like about his performance was the lightning hands and vision out of stoppages was back. To your point, the Giants fed off that really well. Happy to give him the kudos for his game. I do wonder if it will be as effective going forward but we'll wait and see.

Elephant in the room on that Clarry post game interview is him saying that he rocked up to pre-season in bad shape and 'fat'. Glossed past faster than a speeding bullet and kudos to him for getting his act together with the likes of Whits and Ashy by his side but if you were going to a new footy club with the hope of piecing back together your footy career, wouldn't you be aiming rock up to pre season in very very good shape and make a good impression? I'd be doing it that way. Build depth in other positions for now, I can see a lot of teams being disappointed drafting QBs in the first round this season. But then again we're just fans who don't know anything.

Mendoza and Simpson are the only ones who played 15 I think. And that's part of the problem, if it's not a lack of starting experience it's guys with reasonable arms under 6 foot or a bunch of guys who were injured this year.

We'll see. I'm not certain any of you are right at the moment but in time someone will be.
