  1. I want to see him get another game but I'm leaning towards the club side too. There's clearly a reason he hasn't been in the mix, hope he can do enough for another deal but there's a lot to be done before that.
  2. Absolutely, this will be quite a bargaining tool and I'd expect a fair few to be using it.
  3. I had one announced this morning! 3:30 till 4. Better not be a minute over, need to prep for good old fashioned Thurs afternoon footy.
  4. Yeah I honestly thought Lockhart was a shoe-in to come back. Not crazy on the other ins, Fritsch was obvious, Harmes as well however if there isn't more midfield time for him it's a useless exercise. Can't get the reasoning for Smith but it does remind me of the prelim against WC where they felt there was a specific need.
  5. One of the more weird Fri night games I've been to in recent times. Season running on fumes, boring game, terrible crowd (Going into the Hassett room felt like being at a VFL game and being 'allowed' to come into the box there were so few people). Time to change the narrative.
  6. Go get em mate! We're with you in spirit

    Yep in for sure @Macca
  8. Love a good E-Type! Not a massive car guy but gee there's been some beautiful Jags over time. Anyway football, football, silly Hawks, football etc.
  9. That's a bit exciting about Jackson!
  10. It would be great if the commentators could stop pretending this last few games is anything other than Daniher's farewell tour ?
  11. Well they've just suspended imports of barley from our largest grain exporter citing 'quarantine' pests. The saga continues.
  12. At least it's not us amirite? ?
  13. I'm a Viet fan, easily my fav.
  14. Yeah I reckon Lockhart would be primed for the matchup with Papley. Would be a decent feather in the cap if he can hold him to a couple or less.
  15. Maybe there's a silver lining to getting Tomlinson! Would be great but happy with Weid and Jackson so wouldn't move heaven and Earth for him.
  16. Yeah vividly remember this. It was sour after he left but time helped in mending the wounds. I also remember reading an interview in The Age towards the end of his last year at Collingwood when they weren't going to renew his contract and he was basically saying how he was super keen on a return to the club and wanted to have a chat with Neale to see how he could fit into the side.

Yeah sound worthwhile cheers! I would have liked one solely on the Rams this year I just think that would be an interesting training camp to be around at the moment and how they are looking to rebound.
  18. AFL now 'fixes' the problem. Good stuff. Can't wait till we find out there was a missing pointpost at the Gabba this week after a would be winning point was given out of bounds.
  19. Definitely a no to all. An up and running Watts is the only scenario I'd remotely consider but what's the point? Always felt for the guy and I don't think I've ever heard the term "No.1 pick" and his name mentioned in the same sentence more than any other player who had that title. By our fans and other fans alike. It was unfair but we've moved on.
  20. We all know that if they start dishing out suspensions it will stop these acts dead in their tracks yet all I hear from the experts on acts like these is "Nah no suspension, should just get a fine". These people are usually the same ones calling for the harder penalties and saying fines do nothing. Too much foot in both camps for me. Get serious AFL or go home.
  21. We've all seen too much haven't we Dee Zephyr! I was having flashes of Joey Montagna breaking the line and running into the open goal in those dying seconds!

I'll get into it soon Gorg, not sure how the two teams format will go but definitely willing to see how it goes.

How are the Chelsea fans feeling about this season? Certainly building a neat squad. Should Abraham be worried with the arrival of Werner or can they fit both in? I think they might be another year off being a serious contender but after that watch out!
  24. Great, another thing that could have potentially broken our hearts! Turf the protected zone.
  25. So many different elements go into the media product as a whole so I'm not going to give a blanket statement and say it's poor or it's brilliant. I think for the most part from what I've seen video content has been pretty good but with really only a basic knowledge of this area I can't really comment too much. I think it's important to keep producing this content internally but I won't slam the idea of outsourcing if there's a possibility it can produce results. Keen to hear more from people like Lord Nev who are in the know
