  1. What's with all the vigilantes suddenly coming on here and telling us how to feel? Why do we all have to instantly put the rose cloloured glasses on?
  2. The premiership drought thing is another world to me right now. This finals drought is the main concern
  3. Very true. I guess only time will tell how true it is.
  4. We need players who have a point to prove. A chip on the shoulder and an absolute burning desire to overcome this stupid stigma that is associated with this club. Unfortunately it still feels like we have too many yes men smiley smiley numpties running around who are making their bucks anyway. I nearly fell over when I heard on here that the players were in good spirits after yesterday's loss. My god if there is ever a time I want to hear that they were NOT in good spirits that was it. Pathetic
  5. The subject title of this thread is ringing in my head quite loudly right now.
  6. For what it's worth, no.3 is a pretty good point.
  7. It's really important to remember this. We are not on an Island as an improving football team. I saw a lot of sides look better this year, to assume the clubs under us on the ladder will be down there again is just foolish.
  8. I can't wait for some stupid TV show to get a hold of that..
  9. Well that's actually a good question. Why should anyone want to come to this club? What is actually setting us apart? Yeah we've got upside and a couple of good youngsters. Everyone does! They need to ask themself, what is the appeal to come over instead of teams around us like Collingwood, St Kilda, Essendon, whoever. F*** it
  10. All good! Just thought the way I wrote that was confusing. Its gonna be bloody hard to see any sun from here. Gonna take one hell of a positive spin artist to snap me out of this that's for sure
  11. It would be nice if they took responsibility but does anyone at the club really give a toss how we're feeling? They're looking forward to a hard earned mad money!
  12. Hopefully I wasn't confusing but I was agreeing with you. The difference between making it and not can be a real game changer for landing potential free agents.
  13. See I really don't like the idea of next year being an all or nothing year. Making it this year and breaking that stupid drought whilst getting a final into the guys made logical improvement sense. Then next year we could have looked to the season with renewed vision and perspective. Instead we'll just be chasing the Moby Dick again and dealing with all the crap that comes with it. Ladies and gentlemen, your new Richmond Footy Club.
  14. And playing finals would have made us just that much more of a destination club rather than one of the losers back in the middle of the road.
  15. I'm getting totally panned as well. I might be naive but I thought a lot more people would feel for us and say we did alright but no it's just relentless s*** piling. Can't wait to walk into work tomorrow to a pie in the face
  16. At least we're now getting totally laughed at by those flogs on The Bounce. "Back to the snow"
  17. MFC, that one is on you. There is absolutely no-one to blame but ourselves.
  18. In 30 minutes it will be a formality. Really not looking forward to that sick stomach feeling
  19. Any NIN fans? "Try to save myself but myself keeps slipping away"
