  1. Care to elaborate your concerns on Hawkins Bob?
  2. Freo will be exposed shortly Rusty? You know something mate? Do you want to share this piece of information? P.S. I won't tell anyone....Shhhhh...
  3. Thats fair enough. I should of elaborated a bit further ie Ladder position, wins and losses. In 2006 they were all at sea. If you could go back to then - mid 2006, you would of not seen their dominance coming IMO. This has come from within the playing group.
  4. Of course I would. But that means stuff all. Unfortunately it will not happen.
  5. They're definitely the obvious reasons unfortunately. Poor facilities would be a huge component. The sooner we get settled and that sorted out the more "clout" we will have in enticing a big name footballer......next time (fingers crossed) <_<
  6. He was deeply admired by Cameron. If we asked C.Cameron, he'd say "I'm a fan of big Johnny!" Yes it was Cameron that went after him.

    Vote for PJ!

    How'd you guess
  8. Exactly Demons85. You need someone to take marks or bring the ball to ground for the fleet footers and compliment these small crumbers. You can only have so many receivers in a side.
  9. FFS you make it sound like they've all received a lethal injection whilst sitting in the chair with a straight jacket on! Sense of hopelessness? ..................OK then, What do YOU think explains the reasoning behind the sides turnaround against Fremantle when we were 51 points down at the start of the second half? In summary: A reversal of form, fatigue, effort, decision making, skills, can all turn around in a game of football. They had a young side then too. Were undersized, etc. "Shortness of breath",...... And of course YOU know it ALL.....
  10. WYL I share and feel your pain regarding Judd. That is why we have to improve our culture and become ruthless and seen as a pillar of strength. It has to come from within. Bailey can start it by sifting the list again and appoint a new Captain(s). I would like to see Brock McLean captain. Brad Miller Vice captain. Junior and Brucey Deputies. When the boys hit the deck running next year, they have start full of run and aggression at the pill, ruthless tackling. Over summer they need to study what the Benchmark do and implement on the ground. That Benchmark is Geelong Football Club. What irks me is that we were on their level two years ago. We are stuck in first gear. We need to learn from them. As I say it comes from within. At Geelong, their attitude changed and clicked when the leaders told each other enough is enough. They told each other what areas they can improve on collectively and told each other their weaknesses. Since then they haven't looked back!
  11. The tigers are well renownded for "eating their own". Neither do I. Wallace came out saying if his side didn't make the finals next season, he doesn't expect to be coaching beyond 2009 with the Richmond Football Club.
  12. And if they both go missing..............we're in deep poop! Essendon like him? All the more reason to keep him one would of thought. PS. Melbourne likes him more. Very much so lethal............it could kill us!
  13. Hear, hear torpedo.
  14. Whilst I agree and it all sounds good in theory, I would be surprised if Prismall was squeezed out to trade by Geelong, but it is possible. Because they would see a draft full of depth, and 19 would raise a few eyebrows down at Geelong. I was keen on him this time last year actually. Now he has way more value baggage. What about a player for Prismall. Could that be an option? Then again we might not have anything they would want.
  15. What a bummer! Fingers crossed they don't go by then.
  16. You could of mounted a similar case for Shane Crawford and Hawthorn. The Hawks or Crawf could of parted company two years ago, ....now look! this is all but just one of many examples.
  17. Goose, you should of put this in the Drafting and Trading Forum. Meesen is still contracted. So why delist him? I wouldn't trade Sylvia.
  18. Hopefully the alignment between the Demons and Scorpions is a smooth transition and can be carried out without any hiccups. I must say the Zebra's and Demons relationship from my point of view has been a relatively harmonious one which has resulted in success with Mark Williams at the helm in their threepeat triumph. I'd be delighted if the new relationship with the Scorpions will be just as good if not better!
  19. Maybe E) All of the above.
  20. I wonder. <_< ..., what game were you watching? <_< Yes that is correct. And we know when a player is giving their all, because we've seen them do it in the past, and when they are not. You've obviously played too many board games WTF? Everyone on this forum has an opinion or has had an opinion in the past of player(s) whether they are Melbourne or another club, so you're referring to everyone as having thought lazy? I think that in itself is lazy thinking - whatever the hell that means!
  21. Can't match his demands? What demands are those?
  22. Still, it could be a good move on he and his management's part, that he leaves it until the end of the season with him on the verge of winning the B&F. Some bargaining power in other words. Had McLean played a full year, he would of won it. Bruce and Miller (maybe Wheatley too), will be the dangers for Green in the Bluey.
  23. Yes, he was impressive against the Magpies at the G earlier in the season.
  24. Blue Blockers?
