  1. Apparently? Allegedly? You think?/... I wondered why Jones has grazes all over him...
  2. The comedy forum you will find in "General Discussion" See above..... One of ND's vintage It' will take more than hotdogs to do the trick
  3. Welcome Darren, good spray too. I agree and if there is interest on the table for J.Rivers for a late first round or early second round draft pick from Sth Aust? Knock it back? Or consider?
  4. Hey, Jenn Hawkins is not over-rated, OK! David Rhys-Jones, Dennis Banks,..... to name a couple. One that I must mention even though he will go down as one of the greatest...Leigh Matthews. Watts it is.
  5. We got the better of them in 1990, although we didnt go on with it, going down to West Coast at Waverley in the finals. I've heard some of the players including Lyon, saying that was the year that got away. Bloody Filth won that year in October.
  6. I understand we need to look forward and not backward, a little surprised that DB stated that he would select on form. According to reports, Yze played well again at Sandy, that's all. Not sure how Bell went, must of played well to select him. Anyhow Yze was named Emergency I guess, some reward. Newton son...time to pull your finger out. White? I was pretty sure he left the field ok on Friday. Must of been during training surely.
  7. Jeff White forced to miss? Knee? Anyone see this last Friday night?
  8. That is unusual, the article regarding Davey and Johnson is still current on the website, saying neither will play again in 2008.....Hmm <_<

Out: Lynden Dunn (ill), Chris Johnson (Inj-groin) , Jeff White (Inj – knee), Nathan Carroll (omitted) Yze overlooked?
  10. News Flash for you Melbourne 777: PJ is out for the season champ. It was announced on Tuesday.
  11. If the Club decided to trade one of Brad Green or Cameron Bruce, the s%&t would hit the fan. So to speak. Don't you think?
  12. Gazza better spruik about the game tonight then..............there is a few that have posted that not much has been said about this weeks game. I'm a bit concerned for the club. A saturday game too...I will say 24,500
  13. WYL, I can see attributes in players like Nathan Jones, Brock McLean, Brad Miller, Matty Whelan to some degree, Lynden Dunn that with maturity have that hard edge ruthless mean streak in them that will lead the way...that Supreme Demon speaks of.
  14. Everytime the GF comes around I want it to be a close game. Unfortunately I can't see it this year. I give the Hawks a slim chance, but they have to play very well and be in the Cats face. The Cats - too good, they were missing a few in Round 17 against the Hawks, those players will be back on GF day. There is one hope - Lance Franklin.
  15. Well I received recently with the new MFC/MCC Premium membership renewal form for 2009 with guess who as the face of the Melbfc? None other than Brad Green. B)
  16. Would Port Adelaide be silly enough to give up Pick 3? why would they give up a chance to take a Naitanui, Rich , Watts or Hurley?
  17. If only it was possible Before too Long..
  18. I guess it's been done to death before?
  19. I thought we had more injuries at Melbourne. Unusual, they have more premiership players taking the field...
  20. I wonder if Jeff White was away with the fairies then? So too PJ? All the more reason the players weren't switched on........or was that because of shortness of breath...?
  21. Knew it was close. That's a fair crowd. I wonder if that would be the record for a Home & Away fixture between the two sides in Melbourne.
  22. Correction (not same point): The level I meant was...."Maybe at different spectrums of Uncertainty (similar level)" , Geelong had participated in finals previous to 2006, so had Melbourne. Its hard to gauge, we had beaten or drawn Geelong down at Skilled, both sides were inconsistent. Geelong was expected to go well 2006, so too Melbourne. Melbourne looked to go well until a dismal last half of the season before rallying late prior to the finals. But you sort of knew where I was going.....
  23. Not really that quick - about the same as our mids. He is an accurate long kick, in many ways similar to Brent Moloney.
  24. For 3 years? He'll get two years I reckon. $750,000 for 2 years. $400K+ per year is way too much for a player like Green.
