    Brad Green

Sides such as Collingwood and Sydney will be in the market for a trade such as Brad Green - if Melbourne put him on the table. With Didak supposedly on the way out. Collingwood has been rumoured to be putting their "feelers out" for players such as J.Brown, B.Rutten. If they can't land the big fish in Brown, they will be looking elsewhere. Sydney can spend and have a history of recycled players which have more often than not kicked on in Sydney. O'Loughlin and Hall's days with Sydney appear numbered. Depending where the two sides finish the season - which could result in them having picks anywhere from 11 up to 15. Just speculating but it could be say Pick 12 for Green and pick 35.
  2. To Sir Cale! hip hip hooray For he's a jolly good fellow........
  3. FFS don't worry about his hair, just worry about his football.
  4. Interestingly, Cameron Bruce was named best in Herald Sun, and best by both coaches (10 votes) - FC. I noticed in Demonland Voting he was down in the pecking order. Are we at Demonland underestimating him? He's fifth in the overall Demonland votes. But I thought he might of got some 5 and 6 votes, but instead got 2's and 3's. I think he might be a chance in the B&F. Just an observation regarding he's B&F chances.
  5. Wow. That will make me sleep better. Thanks BB. It's wise of him to talk to the people to get a better feel for the job, and talking to Demetriou, Gough and the like seems to be positive IMO.

Noticed alot of his movement with the ball in his hands reminded me of someone who used to wear the No.2 for Melbourne. Does anyone see this? And it's not Robert Flower..... ......anyway I see a bit of Stephen Tingay in him, for fwiw.
  7. Ah, of course.
  8. 100% for Franklin (42 votes) - That's pretty conclusive so far. 54% for Yes 46% for No We're almost split down the middle - should fans be allowed on the ground after 100 goals are kicked by a player in a season. Interesting.
  9. 6. Cale Morton 5. Cameron Bruce 4. Paul Wheatley 3. Simon Buckley 2. Matthew Whelan 1. Brad Green
  10. Thanks for the link D'land. Yze not playing surprised me. Cheers. I wonder now that Jack Grimes has played another solid performance and impressing, if they give him a game against Port Adelaide or Richmond? Surely Petterd would be close this week for Port.
  11. What year? I'll be there.
  12. Cale Morton has been nominated for Round 20. Footy Classified (Hutchy)
  13. Tivendale kicked 6? Good to see Petterd with 4 against his name.
  14. You can stay on that path, I'm not that way inclined...........

There is no force....just playing around with the Star Wars crap....seriously though the more I look at the list and then this draft, whats on offer, the back ended contracts, the position the club is in, the precarious position that Brad Green and the club may face with his current contract coming to a close. Then considering what the club needs to do as a business to succeed, being ruthless, needing pace, GC17, etc, etc, etc, etc. In the end when you weigh everything up, his age etc. It is my belief that we need another top 20 draft pick in this draft. Before the concessions and more importantly to strengthen our list. When you look at the list there are only 4 of experience that could provide that. They are Davey, McLean, Bruce and Green - IMO. We are not going to make the eight IMO next year. Davey and McLean are out of the equation - they are required. Bruce is currently co-captain and is consistent. ANd Green just happens to becoming out of contract. As you say it makes for an interesting trade period.
  16. Exactly. Dee-luded is.......just that. SOmetimes you have to remember your roots, your foundations, to refer to it as elitest is ignorant. The missing Y generation.

PS> Nice pic rusty. I agree. They know his worth. But the more I look at the list now and the more I think about it, the club might just have to make a tough decision on this one. Yes, I'm being swayed to the dark side.... <_< I feel the force
  18. Well then the buck stops with the AFL and the AFL umpiring department. The rules Committee and these departments, whilst they have review after review already, something needs to be done. Maybe 45hotgod you could organise a Summit like Rudd did and get the best 2000 one eyed supporters there and lock em in until everyone is on the same page. Because until then the game is going nowhere.
  19. Yes it could of been really ugly otherwise...
  20. Good point Redleg......F-ing good point.
  21. If you believe Jamar will miss out if we secure Warnock, and White retires or moves on, we will be a little short in the ruck stocks won't we? Or are you looking at Naitanui to come in?
  22. The Giesch won't respond with much. Maybe an acknowledgement of the "stuff -ups". Bails will go back to the Junction with a big fat "0". Absolute disgrace, you can say that again! To me as long as they pay decisions where it is warranted and on merit. I don't care about who gets what, but they must pay the correct decisions by the rules stipulated and to the correct interpretation.
  23. How much money does it take to secure or sponsor one? The Hawks have 4!
  24. Newton must learn to "keep his feet", and improve ball handling at ground level.
  25. Yes. What is it again? Is it you have to be younger than 21 years of age and played fewer than 10 games before the commencement of the season to be eligible? If that is the case next year we will have: - Addam Maric Jack Grimes Tom MacNamara Kyle Cheney Maybe Jake Spencer and this years draft pick selections all eligible (4-5)
