daisycutter replied to Hatchman's topic in Melbourne Demons
Ummm, Lions got the loose ball and advantage was paid - no real penalty IMO -
you should seek help pf. there is a cure if you act promptly juice was not even good enough to get a regular game in the worst side in the comp

to be honest, can't see much in Spencil not his fault he got picked but Martin is not the answer in the ruck either The Russian having a bad year too Lets hope Max comes on We need to bolster our ruck possibilities this draft

I suppose it's possible, though giving them compo picks so soon after all their priority picks and not allowing them time to develop their existing young players would be a bit rich. Still it is the afl's love franchise so who knows However IF they did get compo picks there is no reason to believe they have to be picks prior to the first round. They could be early picks, mid round or end round etc I tend to think there won't be any new special picks for GCS (or GWS) this drafting period -

I know, it was just interesting wondering where these KP players would fit in today Getting back to Cook, I agree he should be around 95kg next 12-18mths heading towards 100kg in later years. He looks to have the frame to carry more weight (unlike some other talls) and this will add more impact to his game. I like his basic skill set and look for big things in the next couple of years

"I was not the boss" - Ben Polis article
daisycutter replied to The Chazz's topic in Melbourne Demons
well let's say we dodged the second bullet and ended up in damage control rather than disaster make no mistake polis did us damage, fortunately many other clubs and organisations were also damaged which helped a little in deflecting the damage -

I wouldn't say we dodged the polis bullet. we got a nasty flesh wound and was saved from worse injury when he shot himself in the foot -

but the point is doc that a number of theoretical scenarios provide proof that the concept can work and can be a win-win for all 3 clubs no point over-arguing any specific scenario because it's not us who will do the deal, just pointing out that is in fact quite possible getting mitch looked quite improbable too -

and if you had read previous posts (not just this thread) you would see that a number of posters have put up reasonable scenarios that address all 3 sides' needs its not impossible -
that's not a nice way to talk about Travis Joke, susan

I wouldn't have a clue Ralph (nor would some afl lackey talking out of turn), anything is possible
