I wasn't even suggesting Fevola should be picked up, just the comment implying we should be protective towards players instead of treating them more like men. We've done that (to the younger players) for four years and they have turned out too soft. I'm saying we should adopt a tougher shape up type of attitude. And we should stop talking to players as though some magic premiership window is going to automatically open for them. You'd think that all the players have to do is turn up, go through the motions, get games under their belt and before you know it they'll be playing in a grand final. Too much fantasy been going on and not enough tough love reality. And too many supporters are just as bad. Sorry about the tangent but that's where I'm coming from

never said new picks changed their form, in fact I said they did it with essentially same players their form last year didn't make sense (too easy to say so and so struggled etc). they were just terrible last year my point was that on the surface it looks fishy but no-one is interested whilst it is more fun putting mfc on the rack

There is going to be a LOT of player movement before we win a flag rpfc. Get used to it. Time to stop putting development and skinny kids before everything else Learning how to win and fighting for a game is just as important for 'development' I'm not saying get Fevola though, but am giving it some consideration (a pov unthinkable to me 6 months ago)
