    Very ordinary night for Jack tonight, never recovered from his nightmare start on Fisher. Looked listless.

    i think we are starting to see the beginnings of Mark Neeld's stamp on the MFC and the transformation into turning our team into an honest and accountable unit. I thought he coached well, he clearly set the players individual goals and the players for the most part bought in.

    I think that he is showing that he has the physical attributes, just needs to work on his composure. Reminds me of a kid called Frawley a few years ago.

    Beamer's ability to stand up in tackles and get it out has been important so far. Should finish strongly.

    I want to see Neeld develop a team that can win finals. My concern with Cale Morton is that I just can't see him developing himself to a point where he could be a damaging player in finals pressure in both body and psyche. Not Morton bashing, I just can't see it, even when i squint really hard, then maybe I'm getting short sighted with age.

    We have been here before Stuie... On the flipside you can have the greatest skill in the universe if you a. don't get the footy b. have no options to get the footy to...then you will not be able to execute your skills.. You said "Gameplans don't make players better kicks."

    I am actually with Jose on this. A solid game-plan, along with other related factors such as fitness, confidence etc definitely makes everyone looks like they are better kicks. It's hard to hit a target when no-one is running, everyone is covered and there is no clear target to hit. A lack of options can make a very good kick look stupid.
