Membership Tally 2020
CS focused on every aspect outside of strengthening the playing list / FD PJ focused one every aspect of strengthening the playing list / FD And Pert was supposed to be capable at thriving in both. ?

TRAINING: Monday 18th January 2021
Melksham played 5 or 6 bad games in a year where our delivery of the footy in to the forwards was horrible and he had to uproot his young family to live on the road for 4 months, next thing he's the whipping boy of the entire list ? Don't be so fickle. Back our people, especially our leaders to bounce back. He's a class act.

It's a myth that you can't challenge without elite facilities. Brisbane's summer deck / Facilities are a debacle.

Mark Williams New Head of Development
Not an assistant. Involved in player development. As in, developing the players.. who went on to win Three Premierships. Let the pessimism rest for a moment.

2020 Phantom Drafts & Rankings
Most draft boards have us taking Carroll - Who's a good friend of Rivers. Always welcome additions that are left foot tidy kicks and go home factor somewhat less with a good friend at the club (See Brisbane Lions recent model).

TRAINING: Monday 7th December 2020
Every single pre season, we kick off wearing the same NB gear from the season prior. I see they've provided fresh kits to GC & ST Kilda. Small matter but it's strange to me.

Unpopular Opinions - Melbourne FC Edition
News is slow this time of year so I thought this could make an interesting thread. I'll start; Joel Smith is already a handy defender, particularly in 1 v 1's, and will develop into a really good lock down KPB

Punt Road redevelopment
Port Melbourne looked a viable option at one point under PJ, but Barlett wants us in the heart of Melbourne, near the G and he will stop at nothing to ensure this happens during his tenure.

Gawn on the Podcast said Aaron is professional as they come and it will be a big moment when he does debut for Casey and for the MFC.

Are we finished yet?
The club has tried unsuccessfully to convince Cedric Cox that we like his talents and could guarantee him 2 years. Complicated situation with family in remote Halls Creek.

Rumour only file ...
If you're so sure about your info, why are you so defensive? You don't have to prove anything to anyone on the forums, or even post it really.

Rumour only file ...
I asked this question after seeing it on the forums and there was no interest in signing Brodie Smith & Josh Thomas.

2020 Player Reviews: #27 Aaron Nietschke
My source within the club speaks so highly of this kid. Apparently his application to his rehab has been elite for his age. Given this is the only thing we can base him on, I think he's deserved of another year. I believe the club make this happen, even if it's as a rookie.

TMac on the Trade Table?
A handy back up and a strong contributor to culture. As much as footy's a business, Tmac did re-sign when there was genuine interest elsewhere and there is always at least something in that.
