I'd say this is likely. The club owe us a helluva lot more transparency with this project. The updates of 'progress is being made but we can't provide an update' will no longer cut it. I'm calling on the board to provide us with honest and upfront details, in line with club values of TRUE. If it is that we awaiting government funding, then so be it. Us supporters are going to be no more restless than we have been for the last 10 years. The bits and bobs you hear suggest that this is the cause of delay and not the Racecourse Reserve, Glen Eira Council or MRC.

A progress announcement has been very close a couple of times but is subject to confirmation on government funding. Club, AFL, sponsor and benefactor funding for the project is confirmed. If the State Gov funding falls through, the former and current (to a degree) board only have themselves to blame for ignorantly giving this project a scope of 3-4km radius from the MCG for near on 10 years. The likes of PM as you have mentioned are sites that originally came and went because of their lack of proximity to the G.

I’m told the financial modelling has already been confirmed which is a mixture of State, Federal, Club, Benefactors and A significant naming rights sponsorship. The racecourse trust have given their approvals. We are awaiting on contracts being signed and there is no set timeline for that. This is the announcement we will hear at the AGM, unless something progressed prior too which I doubt.

The Monogram will sit in the bottom right of the jumper and is now smaller. Grill’s will remain a major sponsor but won’t have their logo on the front.

Hertz have finished their sponsorship with the club. Back of jersey spot u for grabs. I was told Polestar are keen and we are working through with them how this could look commercially.

Haters won’t like this but here’s a home truth. The Kennedy centre has nothing that, aside for a whole heap of administration space, that Casey doesn’t. Same indoor kicking area, same pools, similar size gym, elite training field and it’s a distance from “hawthorn”.

Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves has a highlights reel of particular note. I think he will develop into an Isaac Heeney type who can play forward and midfield to a high level.

Feels like a missed opportunity for May to show he’s up for the fight and isn’t wasting a minute. I respect the players leave period and May has a young child but it would of been great to see him in at least involved in one of the three sessions.

The MFC pitch is that the ovals will be available to the community when not being utilised by the club. The MFC will also attract it's supporters to the precinct who it's hoped will use spend their dollars in the area.
