Feeling better now that I have had some banana yoghurt. Sunbaked today, of course using my banana boat sunblock. Lying on a banana lounge. Banana zinc cream on the lips.

Hope your friend is feeling better. WJ and I are off the love boat now and on the Gold Coast for a few days. We will be dropping in to the GC Suns to see how things are progressing there. They are close to Ashmores Steak House where you can apparently get a great plate of Moreton Bay Bugs.

Feeling really sick to day, at one stage I thought I had a kidney stone. Now think it may have been a bad banana I ate.

I refuse to believe that a supporter of a club would call that whole club, everyone in it by implication, not just its on field performance, " pathetic and disgusting ". That is actually what I think of Sheahan, since he wrote it.

Correct and from a legal viewpoint only , any discrepancy can be attacked by a competent Counsel. Generally making more than one statement is extremely dangerous in legal proceedings if there is the slightest deviation.

Extremely interesting if accurate as it means the investigation is purely on Rule 19 or as we have come to know it as " tanking". As I have said before in that case a bailey denial nearly kills it.We then would not have to worry about " bringing the game into disrepute" and " draft tampering" which would die with a no tanking finding. Positive news indeed if accurate.

I recall Andy saying that he would decide if the matter was to go before the Commission or be dismissed by himself.

Jack Watts just tweeted that he is bulking up on bananas as he doesn't want the club to have any tanking issues about him this year.

That is the same man who called for Freo to throw a game late in the season so that they could avoid Geelong in the first final. No one seemed too upset about that.

I quote the words of that great AFL President Eddie, " if Melbourne didn't do what they did as many other clubs have also done, they would have been the joke of the AFL".

Gee you are really depressing. See if you can find anything at all positive about the club.

Just got back from speaking to Kurt and he says we have nothing to worry about. He said if we were tanking we would have played PJ on Brown in the last quarter against the Tigers.

I am going out to interview Kurt Tippett to get his inside view of the tanking persecution.

Good post. Have an investigation and then make public, private comments made three years ago which have until today had no concern to the AFL and then deem that disrepute. Wonderful!
