PRESEASON TRAINING: Friday 2nd February, 2024
Well clearly Goody disagrees with you. Goody didn’t even see him as replacement for a terribly performing Tom Mac.

Forward Line & Backup Ruck Issues Going into 2024 and beyond ...
IMO JVR should not be rucked at all. He needs to concentrate on his forward craft and not be taken away from his position, confused and increasing the risk of injury. We have others to be the backup ruck, who aren’t as valuable to our forward hopes.

2024 Injury List
BBB is probably ready to play again in about 8 weeks, probably at Casey, but Fullarton might be months.
-
2024 Injury List
Fullarton will probably go onto the long term injury list if his injury is serious, allowing us to add a player. if that happens a mature ruckman could be the target.

2024 Injury List
Agree Jay and that is why I named 6 others before him. That said, Disco was trialled late last year in a scratch match and did well, so who can say definitively he can’t play forward.

2024 Injury List
Plus Fullarton is available, Tom Mac is fit again, Verrall and Jefferson may be improvers, as may the smaller Seston and Schache is break glass. Disco is another that could be tried up forward if we are desperate.

Could be handy if we become insolvent.

Farewell James Harmes
I did say “ most” not “all”.

Farewell James Harmes
That is surprising if true, as most players starting again at a new club, usually put in the effort to arrive in good condition, to impress their club and give themselves the best chance of success.

Farewell James Harmes
IMO his disposal fell apart. His turnovers made him unplayable. A very good Demon for a long time and wish him well at his new club.
