  1. We gave a done a great job in confusion, so no one really knows with any certainty, who we are likely to take. I still think though, that if WC are willing to swap 1, we will be the most likely recipient.
  2. I haven’t forgotten. I hope he will stay, BUT, if he wants to go IN contract, he will bring a big price.
  3. Unless Petty went for 2 first rounders of course. I can't see Butters leaving, but Ben King could, with Walter coming in and Lukocious forward. King is not a Dimma type player imo. He likes them to hurt.
  4. If Cal is correct, we should have no trouble getting Reid, unless WC want him. Curtin would be there at 6 and they would get a bonus player at 11. Our F1 and 42 could be on traded by WC for another bonus pick. However, I would think we might want 23 back, to use on our 2nd player picked.
  5. I thought we wanted Duursma and Caddy and Sullivan and Curtin and Windsor and of course Reid.
  6. I don't think we know anything tbh.

    Then stop at Bombers pick!

Imo we are still a chance to get Reid. It all depends on the certainty of Curtin getting to our pick 6. Roos and Dogs won’t take him, as Roos are still gun shy because of JHF and apparently want Zane and Coby and Dogs have too many talls. The Hawks are the key to a Reid deal by not taking Curtin.

Well obviously we would have to rate him highly first and I suspect we do. Given the amount of "draft experts" who are suggesting we will take Curtin, you could be pretty sure they have based that on some good info from the clubs, not just pulling a player out of the hat.

If that's true, that the Eagles would trade F1 for Curtin, given how well they should know him, then we should be taking him if he is there at our pick. With Petty in some doubt to stay, it makes even more sense.

There is a lot of sax in the music industry.
  17. So it means if another club select him, he goes on their senior list, but if not selected, he is ours as a rookie.

Yes and will be kept to 1400m-1600m races. Top shelf WFA races over 2000m are too much for him.

That’s why the legal phrase “ justice delayed is justice denied “ was coined. The older an event is, generally the harder it is to get accurate evidence.

It is not the justification, as no one would take a dud in the hope you could swap him. Curtin was suggested to be as good as Reid by some pundits. It’s more an insurance bonus if homesickness leads him to want to return to WA. If he is available at our pick I would think we probably take him and swapping him later with Reid would not enter into the drafting discussion.
