  1. Also not a hope in hell.
  2. Not a hope in hell, but his brother at North, who is not as good, could be available.
  3. Who said we aren't a destination club. This was just sent to me by the AFL in their daily trade email. 1. Destination Demonland
  4. They wanted AVB last year as well. If they want Hannan, do it, add AVB, throw in a decent pick and get Papley. I'd see if McCartin wants to come home, if Papley isn't a chance.
  5. Who says? We have targeted two and will have them both by the end of the week and had a nibble at one who is injury prone and might end up staying at his club. Where have we failed so far?
  6. I am talking about Tom Langdon.
  7. We will have him in a couple of days. I get the feeling that Bell might be trying to mend a few bridges from last year and show that he will trade reasonably to then put the pressure on elsewhere, like St.Kilda.
  8. You think Cameron can still be FF at 39? He is on big money with this year's GF team. Look elsewhere.
  9. Now that we are not getting Elliott and if he stays at the Pies, they will probably need some salary cap space, with Grundy and several other big names wanting their fair slice, I wonder if we should target Tom Langdon and unite the brothers.
  10. I certainly wouldn’t boo Elliott, I am already over him. I think I have only ever booed one player, in the year he left us for GWS and who is now at the Hawks. As you know I don’t speak his name. I booed him in his first game against us like many others did and then just ignored him. Will never regard him as a Dees player and probably neither does he.
  11. We have clearly made our decision on Frost. I think we will look at other small forwards or ball carriers like Murray. I still think we need another key forward if only for a couple of years while we improve Weid and find another to help him and Tom. I am starting to think about Jenkins who can play that second ruck role and is big and mobile and can kick straight. He might be ok for a year or two to help out. Of course if something better is available, forget him.
  12. Agree, you are always faster when you have a target to kick to.
  13. We now have at least $500k a year in the kitty, since Elliott passed on us.
  14. Elliott is hopeless, glad we didn't get him.
  15. Post is it on the correct thread, the "He is hopeless, glad we didn't get him " thread.
  16. There is a special thread to post that the "He is hopeless, glad we didn't get him " thread.
  17. Just spoke to a reasonably well connected Pies fan, who agrees with you and isn't fussed if he leaves. FWIW.
  18. Not the best posts to say you know something but can't share it. They tend to sound like BS, or just grandstanding.
  19. I am hearing an echo. See below: " In answer to a post where it was asked why it couldn’t happen, I posted the above as my first post, of many, though latterly just having a bit of fun. Deep down this has always been my belief in relation to Elliott, who is one of the Pies’ fans favourite players. Happy to be proved wrong, but I feel they, the Elliott team, have used us and the Lions to get a better deal from the Pies. We will soon know. "
  20. Mostly made up.
  21. Yes.
