KK is quite skinny. His twin brother looks twice his size.
  2. Agree with that. Oliver seems too intent on niggling his opponent. Needs to just worry about the ball as he is our best accumulator.

    Hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Incorrect, our whole team is a dysfunctional mess.
  5. Have you got an extra set for me? My weekends are now free.
  6. Look at all the sides doing well. They have all drafted quick skilful kids or recycled players and are able to spread and play to a modern game plan. Look at our team yesterday and we looked very slow and play to last years game plan which was not subject to 6-6-6. We haven’t moved on and adapted and it shows in the way we can’t score from repeated inside forward 50’s and are scored heavily against from limited inside 50’sin our back half. We are playing the wrong style of footy with the wrong type of players. The worst part is our Coaches don’t acknowledge it or do anything about it. Maybe playing Billy or Jeffy would have added some run and skill, instead of the fumbling, useless ANB, remembering with terrible umpiring and everything, we only lost by 3 goals. We are not pro active or even re active, we are inactive.
  7. That is exactly why I said at the time to go after Schache, as while he is not yet a world beater, he was cheap and another option if Jesse left, which he did.

I have just seen a team that has been destroyed by its coaches in one off season.
  9. I think he is Head of our Match Committee.
  10. Did we kick out from a point once tonight to a Demon player? We are even incapable of that. We just bomb to a pack every time. That is a basic of footy to be able to clear the opposition goal and start an attack. We never did it once. Whoever is in charge of the defence should be replaced immediately. Whoever picks ANB should be replaced. Whoever refused to draft pace and skill in the last few years should be replaced. Whoever thinks win contested footy don't worry about anything else and that is our only game plan should be replaced.
  11. They clearly were.
  12. Agree Rjay. I remember when Libba came out and said point blank that Carlton tanked and he was part of it. He was threatened by the AFL and recanted. Eddie admitted Collingwood had done the same. Wallace admitted the Tigers had done the same. There was reference to the Saints doing the same to get Reiwoldt and Kosi. Guess what, only one club has ever been investigated. Yes we tanked, just like many other clubs, but only us were put in the sh-t. Warner has got his hands on 80 pages of Interviews that could only have come from the AFL. Who has leaked them? that should be the question that is now investigated. Of course Essendon fanatic Robbo is up to his eyeballs in this and it is released when, on the eve of the Bombers must win game against the Demons. I hope we beat the druggies by 100 points and refuse to comment on 10 year old non news.
  13. Agree Drunk'n. With Clarke in it really doesn't make sense to me.
  14. With Zac Clarke in we should have brought in Keilty/Preuss to allow Tom and Sam to stay forward. Very strange move to me. Billy apparently played a great game last week and can't get a run but ANB stays in. I really don't get it.

I wish people would stop knocking Billy's kicking. He is one of the best at passing the ball correctly on the list. His problem is not getting it enough, not his disposal. If he had 15 kicks into the forward 50, it would have been a far better score for us last week.

Don’t think it works that way.
  17. Considering the players we have available, that team looks far more balanced IMO and it would be Keilty ahead of Tim Smith as Tim Smith is smaller and less versatile than Declan.
  18. Stop exaggerating. On last weeks stats we would only need about 196 inside 50's.

I cant see any difference between May and Cox incidents other than Cox is a popular player, being an American.

Despite being a well known pessimist I am confident we will win this one.

Keilty and Billy could not do any worse than May last week and ANB both weeks and at this stage Corey Wagner is a better player than Sparrow, so if you were correct that would be an improvement. Keilty would give Max a chop out and could also go forward or back and at the same time would allow Tom and Sam to stay forward. Billy's pace and disposal is far superior to ANB's. I noticed that last week not only did he have 3 effective possies, but his tackles didn't stick and he was involved in many of our turnovers. KK and Trac will improve with game time, both coming off injuries.
  22. Redleg replied to WERRIDEE's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
Not really. Everyone was at our end because Trac had the ball on the wing. Trac passed it poorly to Jones who had Clark get the sit and mark over him and then ran on to a forward line that had only one player there Hawkins. He then had all the time in the world to wait for Clark to run into the goal square, after first giving off the handball and then receiving it back. There was not a single Demon any where near the Geelong goal. It doesn't happen if Trac did a good pass or kicked to our half forward. We have a bad habit of doing that. I go back to the problems I have seen with our side for years, which to my mind haven't been remedied: lack of pacy mids and forwards and better skilled players. Despite our finals last year, I still think we are slow and poorly skilled.

I think the season starts this friday night.
  24. Interestingly the Sunday footy show highlighted a number of our forward 50 entries and there were guys on their own who were ignored. The main culprit was Gus going onto his left foot and blasting away. We completely ignored guys in good position to score who were unmanned.
