I’ve heard Eve was rotten to the core.

Weid should be good in the Sydney grass.

    Agree ( so far ).

But luckily Eve was at full forward.
  6. I am a fan of Oscar Mc but what he did on friday night was just plain dumb. Having now watched the entire game back on TV, since I was at the game and obviously miss things there, I was absolutely stunned at Oscar on several occasions leaving his man and running to no mans land in between 2 Bombers and forcing Frost to try and run back to cover for him, thereby leaving his man. No wonder they had loose men and got uncontested marks in the forward 50, it was just ridiculous. Then, when 2 backs jumped for the ball and Devon Smith is lurking behind the pack, near the Bombers goal, what does Josh Wagner do, he mans up on Smith, NO, he goes 3rd man up, leaving Smith to goal from the crumb. Wagner did this several times too. Either our Coaches are dumb, or our players are or they all are. Manning up in those situations would have saved several goals and probably have seen us winning, despite the umpiring. Seriously, this is under 8 's stuff. How the hell is it allowed to happen. Lastly, Jetta, has lost all pace, Hibberd and Jones have lost their kicking disposal, our key forwards lead to the wrong spots, our small forwards are slow, can't kick goals and are not applying enough pressure to keep the ball in our forward 50 and our mids don't help defensively. Viney has no confidence from 30 out and passes to players in worse positions. Max has no help. Fix all that and we can make the finals and still have a good year.

Would he get a game ahead of ANB though?
  8. May has been treated harsher than any player so far this year for the incident he was in. Braced like Cox, but didn't run across off his line to block the player like Cox did.. No concussion or injury suffered, despite what Christian said, which was later corrected at the Tribunal. New grading brought in at the Tribunal that "it could have been worse", but not applied to Dusty or anyone else. Was not off the ball like Dusty but in play. Was a block, not an elbow to the side of the head, which has always been considered a low act. Yes once again we cop the worst of it. Note that Gerard Whateley and other commentators have said the umpiring at our game was very poor and guess who copped the worst of it? Yes we seem to do very well with the AFL.

Have the drink. Unlike the footy club, it won't let you down.
  10. Given the recent incidents and lack of penalties for them, May and us got truly shafted, again.
  11. Funny thing is we are discussing a sh-thouse side that couldn't win, yet was blamed for deliberately trying not to, when in reality it couldn't anyway. Cheating to win games, is really so much worse than not trying to win, when you probably can't anyway. Anyway it is history.

Spoke to Hannan friday and he said should be back in 4-5.
  13. Don't like picking on the kid, but I blame Goodwin for it. By continuing to select him when he is completely out of form, he is making him the target of ridicule among the supporters. Send him back to Casey and play him in the middle to find form.
  14. In hindsight you are right.
  15. Sounds like ANB is gone then.
  16. Petty will be a good player for us.
  17. Dusty gets 2 but back for us ANZAC eve.

Wise you are an optimist. Look at the list below and tell me what you disagree with: Injuries to key players. Operations and compromised pre season to key players. Lack of pace on the list, despite what some on here say. Poor skills throughout the list, with a few exceptions. Lack of quality small goal kicking forwards. A very risky game plan that requires 100% commitment/awareness and supreme fitness. Poor form of several players. Improving opposition teams, making it more difficult to get wins. Lack of a fit, quality second ruckman. Lack of replacement key forward if Tom or Weid injured. Lack of depth, currently available at Casey. 0-3 start which could blow out even worse in the next few games. Wise, the above are some of the reasons I think you are optimistic. That said I hope you are correct, or we even fluke/manage a higher spot in the 8.

As I said which ones, we don't really have any good crumbers.
  20. Redleg replied to The Red Fox's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
    Which crumbers ?

Not to mention McEvoy, Gunston and usually for 10 years Burgoyne.

Of course it was, the 2 Captains wanted out.

He will get 2 with 1 for a guilty plea. Should be 3 with 2 as off the ball.
  24. Don’t know about his stats but agree I thought Hore looked ordinary and not AFL standard.
  25. Chandler showed a bit. Bedford is very slight but has talent and may need some time.
