To answer the question part, I still know we lack skill and pace. Yes skill can help lack of pace with hitting targets. The first half against the Hawks, was some of the worst footy from both sides, I have seen in years. It was garbage.

Was that a statement or a question?

Everyone a little happier this week?
  4. Loved it. Your dad has a way with words, summed it up beautifully. Hope Dec has a good career with us and can keep improving.

Am I missing something? Perracca 5 possies and can’t kick a simple shot. ANB 4 possies and 10 fumbles. Worst footy I have seen in years.

Our setup at ball ups or throw in is disgraceful. They have 2-3 unmanned behind the pack and every clearance goes to one of them and then run the ground. Bloody man them up or go Coach under 7’s. Pathetic.

Actually I think we bought the batteries for Salem. Didn't he have a thyroid problem the first couple of years and missed a lot of footy?
  11. That has been another feature of the poor start to the season.

I am working my way through Game of Thrones and am now into season 4 and what I find very strange, is that I haven't seen a single banana. Clearly if the Director was looking for realism, he would have shown a few bananas.

Not sure about great player, but when fit he is a good player and tough and we don't have a lot of them.

No, we wanted to keep him, obviously on the back of the last few games and first 2 finals of last season.

He should have been fitter at the start of the season.

Keeping him, in hindsight, is looking like a bad decision, when he wanted to go to the Swans and we could have traded him for a young player or pick. He has been injured for the last 3 years, with a run at it only late last season.

Wow. Pretty hard to win games with 13 players out injured. Jetta is getting close to the rest of the season. AVB and KK could be as well. Joel Smith is possibly round 15 resuming in the VFL and will then need a few games to get fitness up, so nearly the end of the season. Lever , May, Hannan, Maynard and JKH at least the 2nd half of the season at best. Just wow.

    Therein lies the problem.
  19. Bu the boat could be on a trailer in the garage.
  20. My usual position.
  21. Feel free, I am a sharing person. BTW, it is an original.
  22. Disagree with the barn door bit, as he actually passes pretty well. Better than most of his team mates, who couldn't hit a wall if they were locked in a small room.
  23. You are meant to position yourself before your team mate passes it and in our case there is no one in position when he gets the ball. Therefore he looks like a headless chook, trying to work out what he is going to do with it. I think he has been one our few good players this season.

Have they blamed the MFC yet?

Pretty quiet on the banana front today.
