Tom MAC hasn’t taken a mark but is playing well, bringing the ball to ground, but our crumbing is terrible. Needed to play another key forward, too many flankers doing nothing.

The game is not about punching players in the back, hard enough to crack their ribs and bruise their lung. All done deliberately to a guy who can’t see you coming. That ain’t a love tap. While Lethal is my number 1 player over the last 50 years, he was a thug, who would king hit from behind, when he went after a player probably because he wasn't having a great day. No, the rules did not allow him to do that. My favourite player in the same period and also most talented was the great Robbie. Top footballer and top bloke. Sadly missed.

Well for what it is worth, I really like Petty and think he will be very good for us. He is big and a great mark and just needs to improve his set shot kicking. I was desperate to get Rivers with our last pick and that is looking ok atm. The other kid I have been a big wrap on since we got him is Jordon and I am following his progress with great interest.

The payoff could be several clubs being sent to WA hubs and we are not included. IMO to be fair, the Bomber players not allowed to play against Carlton, should also be excluded from our postponed game against the Bombers, with the AFL then ensuring a fair break between games and the same break for us and our opponents in the game following the postponed Bombers game. Hard to then argue we are being dealt with unfairly.

Wise, some on here, as RJay has posted, think players are Robots, devoid of any emotion and should just play to their optimum every game,no matter what. Of course that is crap. There could be a million different things that can affect sporting performances. It is not to be used as an excuse of course, but a reason or explanation.

In its current format, our game today. It will be replaced in a timeslot that impacts us both for that game and the following one, you can be sure. Also the team make up will be different and again I am sure we won't get the benefit of a depleted Bombers side like Carlton and other teams might. I am not whingeing, merely stating that this is such a compromised season as to be treated differently in the AFL records. If people disagree that is their right and if they say we just follow the rules, then what would they say if the season was abandoned next week and the AFL said that the team on top of the ladder is the Premier.

You might like the new AFL rule brought in today then. If any team in the GF is outed due to virus positive tests, then the team in the AFL that has never played in a GF will play the remaining team and will be given a 12 goal start, to even up for the fact that they had to fly in from the GC. Sounds a fair rule to me.

Not like this one is turning out to be.
