If Lockhart is fit, how does he not get in ahead of ANB, Spargo, Jetta, Baker, Smith, Pickett and Hunt, who is a bit different and I do like.

I just look at the selected side and it appears to be chock full of VFL standard players. I think many have overrated our list.

    Not as well.

Yes there is there is the boot studded or the drink girl, I would prefer either.
  5. That is not quite right, but I know what you mean.
  6. IMO Caro has disliked our club for years and has often written damaging articles aimed at hurting the club.
  7. I can understand that.
  8. I am not a Goodwin fan, but if you think having the worst fixture has no effect, you are kidding yourself.
  9. Pretty tough to sack a Coach with 2 years left on a contract, after the most crazy season in AFL/VFL history and where his club was given the worst fixture in the Competition.
  10. That’s funny.
  11. Yes Wise, it’s a bit of the each way argument. Wouldn’t like to lose him, but if he wanted to go and we benefited , I would be ok with it. He is harder than anyone at the contest, but unfortunately is not a good user of the footy, very often to our detriment. I also have the feeling he has a smashed up body and that he may be past his best. If he stays great and I hope his style is modified, in that he disposes at first option, instead of trying to break tackles and reach the touch line.
  12. That allows for people to complain if he stays or goes.
  13. Agree Mickey, but again hypothetically, if you traded him to Cats after matching contract offer and say they gave you a good outside mid and a first round pick and you got say a good key forward with that pick , what would you say to that?
  14. It would be sad to see him go, but hypothetically, if we got a first round pick that we used to draft a Max/Ben King forward type, I could live with that.

We have had probably the worst run in routine of any club, changing venues and travelling more than any other club in the AFL.
  16. There is another bloke who generally plays when we lose.

    Not totally certifiable yet.

But Dogs deserve it playing every game at Metricon and being based a few minutes away?

If we win last two games and Dogs drop one, we make it.

It has been changed, we are playing in Broome at 3.00 am friday, in a carpark at the back of the local pub.
  21. Need to be well ahead by half time.
  22. Dan Andrews has just declared it a law.
  23. Travel, breaks between games, timing ( playing a side that has many injuries ), and venues has been more important this year than most. Having a shortened season has worked against lower finishing teams in 2019 as well .
  24. No Nic Nat, Hurn, Cripps and Shuey helped the Dogs, who were at full strength and playing on their 2nd home.
