  1. There you have it. A concise summary. As I said in an earlier post, the AFL has adopted a result/injury based penalty system, except where there is no injury, medical treatment, or even leaving the ground, if it looks bad. Then make it up on the fly.
  2. I remember the Bont eye gouge by Toby Greene. Bont lying pinned on the ground, Toby runs in, looks to see the umpires canโ€™t see and then eye gouges Bont. A disgusting and dangerous act. Penalty a fine. Buddy, Shuey, Daniher and Astbury deliberately elbow players this year and are fined. Nothing to see here. PS. There was a suggestion JV was sore and maybe a couple of weeks freshens him.
  3. That indicates a deal. I can see one week coming .
  4. Whately just said that offence is from a fine to a week and AFL will ask for a week. He will get a week.
  5. Think your right and not a good look.
  6. That would be the very last thing on the shopping list, if it is actually even on it.
  7. Why, it clearly wasn't used to win a game or get an advantage?
  8. I thought Viney's first half was horrible. His second was good. He needs to be coached from now on, to take the first option, immediately. That will improve his game and ours. We know he is hard at the ball and not great at disposal, but a quick release to another player, will avoid htb decisions and at least get the ball forward quickly, where our scoring opportunities will increase. Harmes needs to be told to do likewise and when he kicks for goal, to not run out to the right. Both of them can be valuable to us, with a little change to their games.
  9. As Jack Dyer might have said " the mental side of the game is all in the head".
  10. Would think 1, 4 and Riccardi are your only realistic chances of moving.
  11. Loved the pressure all game. ANBโ€™s run down in the last typified their attitude.
  12. Yes and we had a lucky win in a game a few years ago. What has Frawleyโ€™s pick of years ago got to do with getting Mac Andrew?
  13. Helped them that we took extra players for our trip and weakened the team dramatically. Wallis and West killing us.
  14. Jetta in a crazy piece of play from a kick in, handballs over Jones head and gives away a goal.
  15. Casey is disposing themselves out of this game. Totally wasting a gale.
  16. Marvel. Looks like we are going to Perth too as they are playing us early to get away.
  17. Been watching him today and previously. Will be gone at season end.
  18. Hope you are right. WA Govt ban us from Perth next week and then play it at home after keeping the Eagles here. Would be a great result for us, after the dramas of today.
  19. RIP. Condolences to family and friends.
  20. Certainly easier to keep Eagles here and play the game here next weekend.
  21. One of your more popular posts.
  22. Agree. GC at Marvel tomorrow. Bring WC here. We play next 3 here and last at kitty litter oval.
  23. Hopefully the game if that happens canโ€™t affect our position and we play all our reserves and Suns players are in holiday mode.
  24. Jamarra, yes he was gifted to the Bulldogs, together with countless dodgy umpiring decisions over the last 5 or so years.
