Depends which club is their favourite.

Simple solution. In law, where parties are not " ad Idem" or of" one mind", in other words where the terms of a contract are uncertain, it can where possible be set aside. Therefore the Trade is declared void and Treloar returns to the Pies. That threat, would bring a solution to the problem. Player Agents and the Players Association must be furious with the Pies.
  3. I am here already and have been sitting here talking to myself, with no one listening.
  4. Recently I might have as well, as lately I wouldn't.
  5. Don’t see him running for us. We already have a runner, who no one else wanted in trade week.
  6. Taylor could have an interesting draft this year, with some players being available at his picks, that he might be surprised at.
  7. Cut to the quick!
  8. Cats have beaten us and other clubs to an exciting young 202cm basketball talent Paul Tsapatolis. Fair month for the Cats, play in GF, get best forward in the competition and a couple of other players, sign the most chased young ruck prospect around and get a bucketload of extra cash from the State, to improve their massive home ground advantage stadium. It is easy to support some clubs.
  9. Yes, on another indigenous small forward, who becomes better than Cyril Rioli and plays 300 games for us, winning the Norm Smith 3 times and getting 5 flags with the Dees.

    Actually it’s Pepsi.
  11. Unless someone else gets in first, which I know is unlikely given his injuries.
  12. AFL has changed Draft Rules re points for matching bids this year only, which helps a few clubs, but guess which club will get no benefit?
  13. Actually, if he loses more weight as he is doing and gets his foot right, there is no reason he can’t play decent footy.
  14. I meant they could have had both. One to develop and one ready to go now with experience. Could be funny if Tom gets his best form back.
  15. Clearly they don't rate Tom Mac. They are looking for a key forward and this one is a youngster, while they could have had an experienced one right away.
  16. Translation: We have identified a few players we would like to draft this year, in our pick range.
  17. Given that construction can be 1-2 years, the first thing that has to be established is the site, if you expect to have it done by the next few years. To date we haven't even established that.
  18. Ben, who turns 20 next Friday, played his first AFL game in 2014 against the Dees and now will play for them.
  19. Obvious why North got rid of him, he is too articulate for the Shinboners.
  20. It is amazing how close the statistics of Cameron and Brown are, except in one area, their trade price. If Brown recaptures his best form, we have got an absolute steal. Well done JM and those involved.
  21. Has just added 16% of the team so young players drafted won’t be getting past the new 3. Will probably draft a future star at 96.
  22. Lets hope, that would be great for him and us.
  23. I accept that, I just thought he would be a good fit for us and cost nothing. He went for 65. I see him as better than anyone we have atm, to play the non Langdon wing. I also think a 3 year x $400k -$450k contract would have got him. If Oscar is delisted and say Mitch Brown, that is his salary. We will see how he goes the next couple of years. With Jones, Jetta, ANB, VDB, Hibberd, Melksham possibly and others to go next year, we would have savings for Clarry etc. Also having kept Tom, I would be fairly confident he would now agree to say a 3 year contract based on his 2 years owing and maybe $250k for the 3rd year, split equally each year, thereby saving more the next 2 years and probably getting a bit more for Tom with less Tax each year. Then again, it's done and I could be wrong. I recall being wrong once about 20 years ago. It's late, time for bed. PS. Mahoney was great again and the Brown deal was sensational for us.
  24. Correct. See my previous post above, it appears "we" didn't want him.
