I went to the game today (you beauty!!!) and am keen to re-live the moments... alas, I do not have Foxtel... I know ch7 showed the Sydney game last week at 11:30pm last Sunday night but they're not doing it with today's game so does anyone know when the replay is on Foxtel so I can get someone to tape it? I was sitting Southern Stand, Level 2a - front and centre behind the goals. Brad Miller taking the mark was one thing... Him kicking it straight into my arms was the best moment of footy in my life to date. I just held the ball for ages and celebrated to the ecstatic fans behind me!!! (lol I was hoping to get on tv... ) What a win!!!

na I'd love to see Cousins in the red and the blue it'd be awesome, I think he could have a positive influence on the club. .... .... If he joins a VFL club, do we want him to go with Sandy or Casey then? Or it wouldn't really matter would it? (in terms of next year) imagine if he went to Sandy - Cousins racking up 38 possessions and delivering the ball superbly to Sautner, who would go on to kick a bag of 10 every week lol that would be great.

I thought Davey was ok... And isn't it funny that Woneamirri still gets 1,2 or 3 goals a game and yet has had little influence as of late! If we could deliver the ball to him a bit better ALA Brad Green yesterday he would have 5 or 6 every week, he's got a good enough kick on him I reckon

I think a stint in the forward line wouldn't hurt... Look at Brad Green and Cam Bruce when they started, they were pretty skinny too, he just needs a bit more size and confidence I reckon and he'll make for a very handy midfielder a couple years down the track.

lol yeah they were pretty funny yesterday. Me n Deanox had a pretty irrational bloke behind us yesterday... One thing I noticed in particular was their supporters yelling "baaaaaaallll!" everytime a tackle was laid haha. I think for them it is the whole "the harder you tackle them, the more likely the umpire is to pay it" mentality, rather than what the rule book suggests...

I like the idea of a flag and a scarf for our members, or even if it is just a flag. Cos they certainly do make the crowd look bigger IMO

Clearly we need Garry to be like Eddie. I'd be more than happy for Garry to be hated like Eddie was in exchange for a greater interest in our club! (although it was Collingwood I guess, so Eddie dug himself a grave anyway lol) Having said that, it'd be pretty cool if Garry is indeed on the Jimmy's board :D! In an unrelated matter, did anyone at yesterday's game see Woey? He didn't look very happy to be there in a suit and tie walking round the 'G at the age of 30 odd lol the wound is still deep for me too...

That's interesting, Petterd was listed as 1-2 weeks at the MCG yesterday. Although he did play for Sandy reserves still on the weekend... who knows... <_<

Actually, now that I think of it, Whelan is apparently our best kick - according to the stats in yesterdays Record...

I think he needs a spell at Sandy and then perhaps needs to play a different possy... But my biggest problem with him are his kick-ins!!!!!! What was he thinking kicking it in the vicinity of Leon Davis yesterday lol! That said, TJ wasn't too good either... we've never really had a good kicker-in-er!

Bring back Valenti - atleast he's not afraid to get his head over the ball. Also, I thought Cale Morton's work ethic yesterday was terrible, so many times I saw him just standing around on the 50 metre line not making an effort to lead for our midfielders when our forward line was empty and he's still a bit too scared to get his head over the ball too (probably couldn't blame him with his frame lol). But he does enough to keep his spot that's for sure, I guess he just had a bad one yesterday. Anyone know what happened to Frawley?

Anyone hear Paul Gardners's pre-match/resignation speech on the radio? He spoke about 5 minutes just on the journo's in the game today and had a crack at her... lol

Yep, they're fair points. I wasn't of all those facts. I guess I'll be satisfied waiting another 13 or so years... (I signed up for the list about 2-3 years ago now)

I'm not talking about loyalty so much to the Melbourne Football Club, that's not my argument, I'm talking about how much I use the MCG each year compared to an average MCC member. And for the record, I have a MFC membership and I do make the effort attend every game at the MCG/Telstra Dome, the games I didn't attend last year were days when I had family stuff on, which my mum would disown me if I did miss a family-do! So please don't question my loyalty to the MFC.
