  1. Replacement Games Home game members will be provided with general admission access for Round 5 v Richmond (MCG/ Monday April 24th) and Round 16 v Carlton (MCG/ Sunday July 9th). These are replacement games for Round 10 v Gold Coast SUNS (Traeger Park / Saturday May 27th) and Round 17 v Adelaide Crows (TIO Stadium/ Saturday, July 15th).
  2. M Burgan has reported 6 to 8 weeks for JKH, poor kid!
  3. Real disappointed for JKH. Spoke with him at Family Day, real nice young bloke. He was excited about the season and potentially breaking into the 22. Hopefully its just the 4 weeks but you`d expect Jeffy to be well back by then and he may miss his chance and have to dominate at Casey to get a look in.
  4. Remember plenty of vixens who could be absolute demons in my past life....gotta love the old highlights reel
  5. Remember it well happened right in front of me, believe it was Clint Bartram. Killed all our momentum, game over!
  6. The lid id off according to Choco Williams on SEN an hour ago...reckons we are a top 4 team as long as all the hype does not go to our head. It`s a stitch up, surely?!
  7. Had most Metres gained on the ground along with 10 score involvements! He`ll be playing Round 1 if he has another game like that against WC
  8. That last quarter is the reason J Lewis contacted the club during trade week.
  9. Great stuff WYL, so much better than the Fox Footy commentating which I have probably watched 5 times that last qtr! Anyone who thinks Pedo is not best 22 needs to watch his involvements in that qtr, he had a big say in the result.
  10. Reading these posts I thought they`d be up by 6 plus goals....8 points in it as I type! Maybe not that formidable after all?
  11. Dammit was really looking forward to the Weideman puts contract talks on hold thread...aaah well. In all seriousness, who would want to leave this club now? We won't be losing any required players other than blokes who can no longer get games and look elsewhere for opportunities.
  12. Time for JKH to shine, could not ask for a better opportunity to cement himself a start in around 1. I hope he grabs it!
  13. Hope you are right, may well be!
  14. 64 has a nice ring to it come to think of it......
  15. Yeah I would've been expecting double that, oh well its looking promising still!
  16. Agree re Weid but he will have 2 more chances to see if he can earn a Round 1 position. I have Pedo well ahead of him BUT if we do go with 2 ruckmen I can't see Pedo playing in the same team. Some interesting selection issues for the footy department!
  17. Tracey Holmes...one of the biggest apologists through the saga was she not?
  18. Boyd, Morris, Bont, Wood, Think a few others premiership players, Wallis still injured too
  19. Always enjoy attending this day, a great chance to rub shoulders with all the players who are very approachable and appear to enjoy themselves (Tommy Mac look bored out of his brain but I got a smile out of him). Congratulated JKH on a solid game and discussed his hopes of not just competing for the small forward position but hopes to play up off the wing too. Had some banter with J Lewis asking when he is going to update his Twitter photo of him accepting a medal for the Hawks, to which Jonesey got a laugh out of. Lewy said he doesn't use it and can't even remember what pic he has on it. Great to chat to some of the girls too, Daisy Pearce is every bit as popular with the kids as a lot of the senior blokes. Got some great pics with our kids with many of the players, thanks to the MFC for the opportunity for our kids to meet their heroes.
  20. Real impressive stuff today! 80 marks to 36, bodes very well indeed as does 15 to 8 centre clearances! exciting times ahead in my opinion, dogs were playing to win that one!
  21. Shame, was looking forward to seeing both Trenners and Johnstone!
  22. Family Day at Luna Park tomorrow too, membership tent always gets smashed on this day so expect some good numbers through the week!
  23. Paul Kelly. Of the current crop I love watching the Bont play, Heeney from Swans and Cripps from the Blues. All 3 will become superstars of the game
  24. She was the female version of Pedo, loved her attack on the footy and the opponent. Overall, it was a super impressive team effort, they were being owned by the Pies in the first half. To not only run all over them but to hold them scoreless for the 2nd half was terrific.
