  1. I don’t like how long this is taking. It should be clear cut in JVR’s favour.
  2. Presumably the Casey players will have a pretty serious match sim on the weekend, and Salo can start to build some match conditioning. He’s had an extended break (thyroid & knee) and it will take time for him to become match fit. I’m really looking forward to his return, but I doubt it will be before the bye.
  3. Fantastic show as usual guys. Thank you!
  4. Thanks WWS. Maybe this pdf should be permanently pinned somewhere on Demonland.
  5. Thanks MFC! That is the first critical step. The next is for the Tribunal to exercise some common sense and clear JVR. The alternative will (van) ruin our great game, which has withstood the test of time.
  6. King and Montagna on ‘First Crack’ reckon Melbourne will appeal to the Tribunal, and JVR will be free to play next week. I hope they are correct! The integrity of the game is imperative!
  7. I’ve been a Demonland member since early 2008, and never gone on a rant, but ……….. bloody hell!
  8. We must! ………. and hopefully it will bring some justice to the table!
  9. Spargo was among our best for Casey, and I think we missed his delivery inside 50, and probably his forward 50 pressure as well. Do the panel agree? If so, and he comes in, who goes out? IMO both JJ and Chin have earned another week.
  10. 6. Gawn 5. Viney 4. Petracca 3. Bowey 2. Oliver 1. Sparrow They all played with ‘grunt’ when the chips were down.
  11. Agree, but that’s what good teams do! For the most part we were awful, but g&d got us over the line. Great relief when the siren sounded. Now I need something to ease my hoarse throat.
  12. Very happy for Disco. He's earned a call up ahead of Tommo.
  13. ……… or Hibbo?
  14. We could, we should, we will? I expect GCS to make a nuisance of themselves for a long way, but our classy forwards (Kozzie, Chin & Fritta) and midfield depth, should prevail in the end. If it goes ‘down to the wire’ (which won’t altogether surprise me), l hope some of Clarrie’s ‘never say die’ attitude is contagious! I’m a bit uneasy about this one, but Dees by 30.
  15. I love the concept, and I love our Club for initiating it. We are pacesetters with our culture of respect. Long may it continue!
  16. Simply amazing!
  17. Outstanding interview @Demonland. Covered lots of ground, and I loved Maysie’s honesty and frankness. Didn’t ‘sugar coat’ anything.
  18. Assuming that he has trained on them all in match sims, who of the Melbourne KPFs would Steven least like to have as his direct opponent on match day, and why?
  19. Great work as always guys. Thank you! ❤️💙
  20. No question from me this week. Just want to express my enjoyment of the pods, and my strong appreciation of the time and effort that you guys put into making them so good, week in, week out! Go Dees!
  21. So much joy on this thread today. I hope Kozzie reads it!
  22. I’m teary eyed and over-joyed! We are an outstanding club, with outstanding people and an outstanding culture.
  23. Almost impossible task here, but North didn’t offer AFL level resistance. I’ll go with: 6. Petracca 5. Chandler 4. Oliver 3. Grundy 2. Brayshaw 1. Langdon Special mentions: Everyone else, except Harmes, who played a role, but didn’t spend much time on ground.
  24. Good on you Nibbler. Genuine ‘heart & soul’ footballer, and they are the most important kind!
  25. Yes. Still brings a tear to my eye.
