VOTES: Rd 20 vs Richmond
6. Gawn - a Colossus again. What a leader! 5. Viney - behind Max, but another outstanding, ‘lead from the front’ performance 4. Petty - 6 goals and only 4 votes. A revelation. 3. Melksham - getting better by the week since his return. 2. Neal-Bullen - a consistent work-horse who plays one of the hardest positions on the field. Doesn’t get enough recognition. 1. Lever - just typical Jake. Plenty of others who I couldn’t squeeze in including Riv, Lingers,Tracc & Hunter.

Jack Viney interview, Hamish McLachlan. This is great stuff.
BRILLIANT! Jack wears his heart on his sleeve. I love that it’s a red and blue heart!

COACHES VOTES: Rd 19 2023
Yes. It will be interesting to see how many Brownlow votes he polls, both for the Adelaide game, and over the last 6 weeks.

COACHES VOTES: Rd 19 2023
Me too! Jack was good for most of the game, but practically dragged us over the line on his own broad shoulders in the last quarter. Surely that counts. Amazing!

Choco Williams to Remain a Demon
I love this! Many of our youngsters are developing beautifully under Choco’s unique style and guidance, and we have another group of high-end youngsters joining our Club in a couple of months. Well done Choco and the Melbourne Footy Club!

POSTGAME: Rd 19 vs Adelaide
Adelaide were decent, we were just better for slightly longer. Another game where guts, grit, determination and a ‘never say die’ attitude got us over the line. These are outstanding qualities to take into the finals, but gee, there remains plenty to work on before September. The dream lives on!

VOTES: Rd 19 vs Adelaide
6. Viney - a Colossuses again, especially when the heat was on. 5. Gawn - led from the front, both in the ruck, and around the ground. 4. Pickett - back to his ‘electrifying’ best. 3. Brayshaw - at his best in the contest, and he won most of them. 2. Chandler - obviously the correct call by our MC. 1. Rivers - continuing his run of strong form.

GAMEDAY: Rd 19 vs Adelaide
Heading into the pointy end of the season with belief, confidence and momentum is vital. Our outstanding ‘come from behind’ win against the Lions last weekend was a great starting point, and I’m hoping that we continue building from today. Winning each quarter, with a 6+ goal final margin will do that. Go Dees! It’s time to get on a roll!

CASEY: Rd 18 vs Coburg
IIRC, he went off late in the last game with what appeared to be a hammy. It was later ‘diagnosed’ as a severe cramp, and nothing to be concerned about. Maybe it was something to be concerned about.

PODCAST: Rd 18 vs Brisbane
Love the Pods guys. Keep up the great work! Simple question from me: Chandler or Spargo? I understand Spargo’s role, but he hasn’t delivered to his normal standard for a while now. Chandler was out of form before he was omitted, but has reportedly done well for Casey over the last couple of weeks. Is it time for a change?
