2022 NAB AFL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Strange as it may seem, there’s still one game left in the 2022 NAB AFL National U18 Championships and it’s the series decider between Vic Metro and Vic Country. The game will be played at Marvel Stadium on Thursday September 22 with the first bounce at 4:35pm. You can also watch on the Footy Channel if you have Foxtel.

2022 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Definitely, until his playing future is resolved. If he does end up going back to WA, we can expect that to be a game changer for Melbourne which will suddenly find itself with a couple of high draft picks. LJ was taken at pick 3 and the club has invested three years of learning into him so that whoever he plays for in the next ten years will have an elite player for 10 years. That’s at least two top 5 picks and a player. If he goes, then I would imagine that the Demons would try to gain Brodie Grundy as well as to pick up a young potential ruckman and one key position forward. Twomey’s form guide has some good prospects within a reasonable range that the club could aim to get. About a week ago I mentioned in the Jackson thread - “Two key players in that draft pick conundrum might be South Australians Isaac Keeler (197cm) and Harry Barnett (202cm) who are both capable of being developed as key forwards or ruckmen. Together with JVR, they would provide us with the next generation tall timber to replace Jackson and cover for the coming retirements of Ben Brown and Tom McDonald.”

Patrick Cripps FREE to play
What are the rules in the case of an appeal? Don't they have to claim they have new evidence that wasn't already considered by the original tribunal?

Someone even suggesting that Lobb be used as part of a trade. Lobb would be 30 by the start of next season.

2022 Injury List
Strange about AMW. He was omitted from the Casey side last week because he was being managed. Turns out he has a groin injury.

TEAMS: Rd 16 vs Adelaide
Mitch has done okay on the rare occasions he’s been given an opportunity. It’s true that he didn’t shine against Collingwood when the team was very much under the pump with multiple injuries but quite a few others also let us down. He came back to the VFL last week and was on fire kicking 6.6 so I think he deserves a chance. The question if he plays is which of the Browns plays the second ruck role and which plays key forward? Or do they have a bit of a merry go round with Weid and both Browns sharing the ruck and forward duties between them?

2022 NAB AFL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
I just watched the dying moments of the SA v VIc Country game and it was a real thriller with VC’s Harley Reid taking a couple of strong game-saving marks. And yes juniormac, I understood those comments.

Welcome to Demonland Kynan Brown
Kynan Brown had another good day at the weekend according to Rookie Me Central - #44 Kynan Brown In just his second NAB League outing, the bottom-aged Melbourne father-son candidate topped his side’s disposal chart with 25, including four scoring shots. After a steady start, he began to come to prominence with in-and-under work at the contest, producing second and third efforts aplenty to help will the ball out. He also provided a good deal of drive in the second half, bursting forward and kicking a clutch goal to draw level in the final quarter. That touch of polish is something Brown can refine going forward, though his effort was evident

Welcome to Demonland Kynan Brown
Played for Oakleigh Chargers as a bottom age player at the weekend. From Rookie Me Central ~ #55 Kynan Brown “One for Melbourne fans to watch as a potential father-son candidate, Brown (son of Nathan), produced some exciting moments in his NAB League debut. The hard-at-it midfielder got a run through the engine room and also impacted up forward, snaring two goals from 17 disposals and four inside 50s. Both of Brown’s majors were fair efforts, particularly the second term snap which he seemed pretty pleased with. Still a bottom-ager, there’s some exciting traits to work with.” 2022 NAB League Boys snapshot: Round 7 Height 180cm DOB 13/01/2005
