There's no killer instinct in this team. They get complacent and self-satisfied. At half time they needed to come out and assert their advantage. Instead for 15 minutes they slept and only woke up a four goals down. You are a better chance to win a game if you work extra hard to get in front and use that momentum. That's what good teams do. Some very ordinary performances from the likes of the Weed, Bugg, Watts and Oscar. Umpiring was blatantly biased.

Abe, by not Salem in your 22 you have gone completely Ken Bruce. Hibberd and Salem distributing off half back was a thing of beauty against Adelaide. In the top-five first picked in my opinion.

Not sure how you could think this when he absolutely dominated in his first game and despite only being half fit last year was second for all the nominated rising stars for contested possessions. Gerard Healy called the best debut he had seen. The Toump played one decent game for Melbourne in three seasons against St Kilda which ironically he lost for us as well.

Sorry Billy. Couple of useful things in the third doesn't cut it for me compared to the six chosen.Two goals, two excellent contested marks and two goal assists were good though.

For sure McQueen. He is a genuine emerging star and along with Hibberd made us look assured coming out the backline. First time in a long time I've seen this.
