I’m curious as to why no one is bagging George Bailey, being that he’s the Chief Selector. I’m not saying he should be bagged but it seems on here that’s the way folks roll (looking at you, Fence).

Training resumes this Friday 9th January at 10am at Casey Fields. The following Wednesday (14th January) is when training will next be at Gosch’s.

A vendetta against my sanity would be a wasted campaign, for my sanity is not fit to put up a fight. My sanity would meekly surrender quicker than you can say ‘not another [censored] quiz I can’t solve’

At this stage training resumes this Thursday at Gosch’s at 10am. I’m waiting to hear from the property manager with confirmation of this. I’ll post on here when he lets me know 👍🏽

This was made to replace one that was made at the beginning of last season, one which I only got to wave for one match before it was stolen. I like knowing that the person who stole it is now the proud owner of something redundant… 😅

Two words… 🥳 LUKER [censored] KENTFIELD 🥳 Towards the end of last season he was very close to debuting. They felt he was ready for round 23 but they didn’t want him going up against Barrass and Battle in his first game, and round 24 was vs Collingwood. No Collingwood players were named as the reason so methinks it’s the entire side that was the deterrent. 😁

Maysie was told this, therefore it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that Clarrie was as well.

Still too soon 😭 But the whole Judd thing is a perfect example of how benign you are. When it was first announced that Judd was leaving, a poster tagged you and said “Over to you, Picket Fence” as in, “have at her.” To this poster’s (likely) dismay (and that of a few others) you didn’t go down the “I told you so path.” You were kind and respectful and I appreciate that. Back on-topic… I agree wholeheartedly with this. AJ isn’t a thug, but he’s definitely a brute. His on-field presence will be felt.

Exactly. PF is completely harmless. Yes, he bags the hell out of certain players and coaches and yes, he types in capitals way too much, but he doesn’t insult other posters. He plays the ball, not the man, even if he oftentimes butchers the ball 😅 There are some on here who are deserving of criticism for stooping to personal insults. PF’s not one of them. Again… he’s harmless.

Training resumes on Thursday 8th January. At this stage it will be at Gosch’s at 10am. But as always, this is subject to change. I’ll find out a couple of days beforehand and I’ll post on here. The schedule thereafter will likely be Mondays and Fridays at Gosch’s and Wednesdays at Casey. This has yet to be confirmed, though.

Ok, I’ve remembered a clean joke. I think I’ve already posted it on here years ago but since it’s the only clean joke I know, here ‘tis… A young British guy had three mates over for dinner at his mum’s house. Mum brings out a sumptuous roast chicken and places it on the table. She picks up the carving knife and says to the first of her son’s friends, “Which football team do you go for?” The lad says, “West Ham United.” Mum carves a slice from the left side of the chicken and serves it to him. “And which football team do you go for?” Mum asks the second lad.” The boy replies, “I go for East Ham United” so Mum carves a slice from the right side of the chicken for him. Mum asks the third lad, “Which football team do you go for?” “Arsenal” replied the boy, “But I’m not hungry, thanks.”
