Demon Jacks
Reminds me of this one match I was watching where St Kilda had six players named Jack on the field at the same time. A third of their team named Jack. And you’d have no excuse for not knowing this since BT mentioned EVERY FIVE [censored] MINUTES.

AFLW: Rd 11 vs Brisbane
We’re 0-2 for interstate games. Here’s to third time lucky. The lions are no slouches. Courtney Hodder is one to look out for. When she gets off the leash she’s hard to stop.

I’m not sure if you’re complimenting Kolt or bagging him. I hope it’s the former but I fear it’s the latter

Yeah we occasionally have a snapped pole when raising the banner. He could be a backup 😅

Idk if he played mini-golf but I do know he didn’t get his face painted. I did! 🤡

Something’s not quite right in the world today, I’m agreeing with Dazzle and Gonzo. What kind of witchery is this? 🤯 Anyways, a lot that’s said about Tracc is possibly true. But one thing that’s a flat out falsehood is that he didn’t have time for the young players. He had all the time in the world for them, in particular Kolt and Harvey. He would stay back at training and work with them one-on-one. He was invested in them 100% and whatever Harvey said wasn’t scripted since he’s told me himself how much he was learning from Tracc. Same with Kolt; he used to follow Tracc around at Gosch’s like a puppy dog (think Spike & Chester). He said he was modelling himself on Tracc and that he (Tracc) took him under his wing.

Clearly NOT deliberate. Your reaction to my question was 😮 (shock) and you immediately amended the title. It’s ok, Demonstone. We all make mistakes. But when you almost make a hobby out of correcting folks, any mistake of yours will be highlighted, and never forgotten 😁 You’re welcome, every single DL member who’s been corrected by Demonstone.

Heads up… The MotoGP is on at Phillip Island today which may have an impact on traffic. Also there’s an athletics event on next door to Casey so the car park may fill quickly.

Zac Jones Anyone?
Gator has a go at DemonOX and all of the sudden you’re puffing your big bully boy chest out. Methinks DemonOX hit a nerve when he called you a GREEN-EYED MONSTER coz that’s EXACTLY what you are. It’s equal parts pathetic, and laughable. Regards, DemonOX’s “little cheerleader” lamest burn ever 😂 Anyways @Rodney (Balls) Grinter, it’s a nice thought having Zak as a Demon, he’s only 30yo and likely would love to keep playing. Unfortunately, can’t see it happening.

Training Ground?
Every session at Casey is closed. I can’t see why they’d be any different at Waverley. 🤷♀️ Although the captain’s runs and the flush runs which are currently at Gosch’s are always open and I’m sure that’s because they’re the not so serious sessions.

A slightly lost looking old bloke huh? It might be easier for you to find me 😆 Just ask literally anyone in the cheer squad to point out the crazy chook lady 😅 Oh and one is never too old for face paint! Seeya tomorrow! PS: I’ll be the one in red and blue 😝 (Cheer squad joke - never not funny)

AFLW TRAINING: Friday 17th October 2025
Tay wasn’t there this morning

Training Ground?
Sadly I’m back to square one, so to speak. I have to abide by the rules set by the new coach/president/CEO and if they don’t see fit to allow me in like the former coach etc. did then that’s how it has to be. I’d be prepared travel to Waverley but only if open sessions are held, it’s pointless otherwise.
-
Training Ground?
Apparently the Hawks are very close to moving out of Waverley - in time for us to start using it in December.
-
Training Ground?
Well that aligns with something I was told recently. Apparently as of the 1st of December (which is when the senior players return for preseason) *Gosch’s will no longer be used for training and Waverley will be the venue instead. This isn’t official yet but that’s purported to be the plan. This arrangement will run for approximately two years which is when they expect Caulfield to be completed. Again, not official. Just something I was told, then this morning I was told similar by a different person. If the training at Waverley news is true, Kev and I will no longer be able to furnish training reports. It’s not just the distance to travel, it’s the fact that the new regime is looking to have closed sessions only, like at Casey. I believe currently Waverley is open to spectators but that’s nothing some temporary fencing can’t solve. I guess we’ll have to wait and see 🤷♀️
