Weâre lucky youâre here to tell the story! i have one: out the back of bum[censored] somewhere on the way from Melb to Sale, no one around for miles, driving downhill and my bonnet flew open! I pulled over, regained my composure then secured it with my Doc Martens shoelaces and went on my not so merry way. Of course it happened again (twice) before I reached the next town. Interestingly, itâs not as bad as youâd imagine. It frightens the bejesus out of you but apart from a small crack in the corner of the windscreen neither me or the car were damaged.

You can choose between the DoorDasher handing you the food, or leaving it at your door and knocking to let you know itâs there. I always choose the latter. On this occasion dude didnât knock so he likely left the food, saw the bat then took of fearing for his life. đ I know he didnât knock because my house was silent at the time and I was in the next room and we always hear when someone knocks. Poor bastard earned his wages that night đ

Hey all đ have yet to post in this, the crĂšme de la crĂšme of Demonland threads. Thought now is a good time to post something since itâs a very quiet time in the world of footy. This happened a couple of nights ago⊠Got Maccas DoorDashed to mine and noticed a couple of items were missing. This has happened before and DoorDash arenât exactly quick to respond when contacted. But this time they were very quick and very helpful, which puzzled me. Then I saw the photo the DoorDasher had taken when he delivered the food, and now I think I know why they were so quick to help.đ đ€đ€đ€

Pre-season 2025
As a rule the gates are always closed. An exception to this is Monday the 20th of January which is a scheduled open training session at Casey. Itâs one event on the school holidays program, another being two days later at GoschâsâŠ

One example of (too) many: She was tasked with explaining why no 50-metre penalty was awarded to North in the final minute of a match vs Collingwood when North were trailing by one point and Bailey Scott marked and was immediately rushed at by two Collingwood players, Sidebottom and I think it was Beau McCreery. A 50-metre penalty wouldâve put Scott in the goal square, almost guaranteeing a five-point win. What does Kane do? She publicly admits she sought advice from Brad Scott when it came to explaining this howler. Then she declares that in future sheâll not be fronting the public on matters such as this. What??! If Iâm sch!ttt at an important part of my job I donât get to say welp, not doing that anymore, and still expect to keep my job, let alone getting paid the same.

None of this matters. And it didnât matter at the time. He was simply never missing finals. The outcome was decided probably as early as within minutes of the incident, or it may as well have been since Maynard was playing in finals come hell or high water. As @Redleg pointed out, Collingwood supporters (the MRO and Gleeson) making such important decisions about a Collingwood player is wrong on every level. Imagine if it was you who had to adjudicate and it was a Melbourne player and finals were on the line. I know I would struggle with impartiality. Fact: the AFL is Collingwoodâs little b!ttch. PS: at the time, for about five minutes I admired Laura Kane. I was sucked in. I thought wow sheâs actually going up against the MRO, this is ballsy. But sheâs just like Dillon and co⊠weak as pizz. Spineless. Impotent. Puppets on a string.

Didnât Moore injure both Kieren Briggs and Jarrod Witts last season with a similar action? Not as devastating as the Tracc incident but Iâm sure one of them ended up with a fractured vertebra as a result.

The AFL put forth the flimsiest, weakest âargumentâ and it was painfully obvious that it was a token show of doing the right thing re head trauma. They couldnât have argued more pathetically if they tried.

McGuireâs middle name ainât humility, thatâs for sure. Nor is it decency, sensitivity, tact, respect, the list goes on. And why the hell was he the MC at RDBâs memorial last year?! Some posters on here said itâs because heâs so good at the job but I donât care how good he is at MC-ing, they shouldâve appointed a Melbourne or Carlton person, not him. It was bad enough when he first walked out onto the stage, just his mere presence. But he mentioned Collingwood at least eight times (we were counting) at points in proceedings when there really wasnât a reason for it. That egotistical fat-head POS makes me sick. End of rant. As you were. đ
