I saw it totally differently. She absolutely owned Ginnivan. He’s not quick-witted, all he could muster was a silly giggle followed by “you’re embarrassing.” She didn’t strike me as humiliated at all. She killed it. Also, it’s not like she appeared in his shower stall at home, he was walking through the airport, a busy public space. The cocky little upstart invites this kind of attention despite lacking in the repartee department.

Yeah, at 7am. It was vodka and something. I only had one and it was one too many.

It should be the other way around. About a month ago an elderly DA friend rang me and asked what I know about “Dirk Wadeson” and if it looks like he’s coming to us. This morning she rang me and asked “This Wade Derksen fellah, is he any relation to that player you were telling me about a while back?” 😄
